Los Angeles' Bach in the Subways celebration ready to roll Saturday

Saturday would have been Bach's 330th birthday, and thousands of musicians will celebrate by playing Bach's compositions in public, across 129 cities in more than 39 countries.

Bach is my all-time favorites!
His Cantatas alone can make even a crappy day brighter.

Actually his birthday is March 31 New Style (by the Gregorian calendar now in use), which is equivalent to March 21 O.S. (Julian calendar).
March 31 is also the birthday of P.D.Q. Bach.

What I'm thinking is that it may just cut down on crime.
Music from a real culture wafting up from the subways might put off the sons and daughters of Obola that use mass transit to spread their gimmedat culture into the more sane areas.
At least for a while.
