Don't most of the State Police departments have a database they use when driving through motel parking lots to find criminals?
What is the Post Office going to do that the State Police are already doing.
This is the Obama Administration. Never mind.

Post offices spy on everyone...
They do this for a reason.
Many people attempt to remain somewhat anonymous by using PO boxes, postal drop boxes etc, in attempts to keep themselves private, hide their resident addresses etc, for whatever reasons.
The government post office’s knows this and one of the reasons why most PO’s have tons of data collecting video surveillance.

The USPS is technically bankrupt and has been for a lot of years. Just recently they wanted to terminate Saturday deliveries, but that was just to pressure Congress critters to refill the trough. I guess they have enough time on their hands to spy on private citizens who pay the dole. Perhaps they want to sell the information to the highest bidder. Oh, yeah, that would be us...again (sigh).

It’s kind of Orwellian but hard to see how it is unconstitutional for us to be looked at.

It sounds like something out of "Judge Dred ", involving "PRE-CRIME"
but with no warrrant , or probable cause, it is UNCONSTITUTIONAL under law
but these aren't times with "law of the land" as we know it, especially in the land of 'over-reach'
and 'selective prosecution' of 'selective laws' by the Dept. of "JUST-US"

One of those specially equipped cop cars came onto our condo complex once and started scanning plates.I always back my car into my space so given that I have no front plate he didn't get anything on me.I stopped him for a minute and asked him if he was conducting an illegal search (given that our parking area is private property not visible from a public way) and he just gave me a dirty look and continued.
Unlike some in this country I find that I trust the government *less and less* as time passes.
