Pope says Koran is a book of peace and Islam is a peaceful religion

I agree, but if he denounced the idea that Islam is violent, as the persons he quoted did, would THAT not be bigger news?

His quotation of them, with no further video, leads me to believe that the news organization, itself concerned with it’s integrity or slandering or misquoting the Pope, also, wrote a headline where the Pope called Islam a peaceful religion.

They would not, under just a simple showing of that video, come to any other observation than you and others did, to just say he was quoting others.

So...Quoting them? Or agreeing with them?
If he did NOT agree with them and he believe d Islam was evil and violent, would that NOT be a bigger story?
His quoting of others, allows him to express the view that he Agrees with them, and it looks like he didnt say it himself, ut soemone else said it...but what does the headline say?

The headline says HE believes it.

I admit, it is a derived conclusion, but if he did agree, he doesn’t have to say, “I AGREE” so much, he already allows Muslims to pray in the vatican, and I posted those articles in this thread, too

No. this video does make the strong implication he agrees, along with the other news articles, just GOOGLE POPE + ISLAM + VATICAN + MOSQUE

The Pope just prayed in a Turkish Mosque last week, too

I am surprised Joel Osteen or Rick Warren wasn’t with him
