Reminds me of a youtube video where a guy is chased by a cloaked entity from place to place, all over the world, with the goal of beating him to death with a spoon.

It will keep walking and keep walking. And it will catch you.

So, Terminator IV without the technology?

Denzel Washington in a very similar movie was quite good and creepy.

The world is vaguely aware of two things that are coming: 1) something very wicked this way comes and 2) something wonderful and blessed is coming.

Seven years of monumental evil and catastrophic devastation wherein most of earth’s population will be killed, will be followed by 1000 years of the most blessed peace and harmony on earth since there was a nation.

Never a big fan of horror films - I always thought "The Shining" was pretty damned good.

If I had some evil force coming after me to kill me, I wouldn’t try all kinds of outlandish ways to kill it... I would trap it in a steel cage and keep it prisoner.

If it is invisible, that is even better — no legal ramifications for keeping someone in a cage that only I can see.

Didn’t the 1980s TV show Buck Rogers in the 25th Century have this as a plot(similar to TERMINATOR)?
Buck must protect a girl from a “terminator”. He leads the terminator over some sand trap creature hiding in it that pulls it’s victims down under the sand.
The terminator is caught, pulled down, and Buck saves the girl and gets her away. Everyone is happy.
Last scene is the terminator emerging from the sand after killing the sand creature.

One of the most successful horror movies ever- and they didn’t have to rely on in-your face violence, blood, gore and blatant sex to make Jaws a runaway success.

Jaws proved nothing is as horrible as what your own mind can conjure up.
Take for instance the opening scene.
It’s a lovely quiet moonlight night on the bay with no sounds except the gentle lapping of water and the gentle bell of a bouy.
A girl is treading water, laughing and teasing her inebriated boyfriend lying in the sand on the shore.
You hear the jaws theme...suddenly the girl is yanked below the surface. She comes up again.
A look of confusion and horror on her face.
She’s yanked down again.
She surfaces. Her water logged screams are bloodcurdling.
Once again she is pulled under, and this time does not resurface.

The moonlite bay returns to its gentle lapping, the bouy bell tolls gently.
The boyfriend sleeps on on the beach.
It’s as if nothing ever happened.

One of the scariest, most horrific movie scenes ever filmed.
