The last name I would want going forward would be “Cheatwood.” Just a thought.

"Morgan, formerly of The Huffington Post and CBS, joined Beck's company in 2011."

Yeah, he's a conservative all right.

Sorry, but Beck has changed in the last few years and I’d guess that his workers sensed the same and were looking for better pastures. That is too bad though as Beck does have a message to get out but maybe he has been too enthusiastic in his efforts - or maybe his employees have begun to look around for other reasons.

Actually, I think he is doing a great job but maybe he is taking his crew and their loyalty by default without realizing that they might need to expand their horizons.

Anyway, folks have to do what they can to survive in this world and maybe Beck has not caught up with the real world.l

He continues to host radio and TV shows rooted in his conservative political opinions, but he has been branching out, emphasizing culture coverage and developing scripted programming.

Let me say this clearly: F*ck Glenn Beck. At the height of the Tea Party having influence Beck started, out of his own warped little mind the 9/12 project. Then he decided to have a big rally on the mall. Not a Tea Party rally, not amplifying the message WE came up with" Taxed Enough Already -- but instead a weird homage to Martin Luther King.

Whatever problems America has that Conservatives aim to fix I am 100% sure that a lack of worship of his Doctor Reverendship is NOT one of them. Really, the problem with America is TOO DAMN MUCH MLK, and not enough anger about taxes, big government, regulations and lying politicians.

Beck did more to suck the momentum out of our movement than anyone, he did it for personal gain.

He is a very confused puppy - a wacked out Mormon, a former addict, a conspiracy theoritst, a guy who by his own admission didn't read books till a few years ago.

He is the worst possible leader for a conservative movement. He himself is not conservative, because he has no idea what it even is, having only recently stumbled onto it.

There is a reason AA doesn't let people who have only been sober for 2 months sponsor new members. For the same reason Beck should never have been allowed to direct the Tea Party and conservative movement. That he was was due to the raw power of Fox, who are not reliable friends.

F. Glenn Beck. Go away, cretin.

Have to say that I also am very confused by Beck but am still holding onto some simbalance of hope. So not quite as confused as you are but am hoping for better than I now see.

Unless the Huffington Post person has had a major change of heart, can’t imagine why he would hire him/her. Must be something else missing here? At any rate, will give him the benefit of the doubt until proven wrong.

I don’t really know what to make of the guy.

He pretty much lost me with the whole teddy bears for the illegal aliens thing. You don’t give teddy bears to an invading army, I’m sorry.

But beyond that, he just doesn’t really speak of anything worth listening to any longer. I mean absolutely nothing, and it’s really a bit of a shocker considering how he used to expose the communists in our government, which are literally everywhere.

There may be about 1% of government that isn’t communist, and that’s it...but he went from doing serious investigative work to... bupkis.

I can’t really think of any reason why other than to agree with those who say he’s insane.

I used to listen to his radio show every day, now I can barely even tolerate 5 minutes of it before I turn it off.

It’s like Moron Trivia all day every day, football season or no football season.

True, but still holding out for something else...

I know he has become a bit of a strange character but will still wait for an outcome, just in case. I still like him but am not sure where he is coming from these days.

"He just doesn't really speak of anything worth listening to any longer"

You haven't watched/listened to his show very much, if you have even watched it all-So you are misleading people.

I don't get what you, and the usual suspects who show up on every Beck thread complaining, are hoping to accomplish by griping about something don't even watch.

He's (Beck) trying to offer an alternative to the liberal media complex. That is a good thing.

As for him not speaking of anything worth listening to-He recently followed up on a show Laurie Dhue (Formerly of Fox News ) put together about misdeeds and corruption at the State Department. It was SHOCKING to say the least.

I haven't seen anything about it on any other media outlet. That's just one example. There are many more.

I just don't get all tear down posts against someone who is trying to challenge the MSM.

Well, that might be a little much, but he has changed a bit so I won’t challenge you about that heh. I will wait a bit to see how much change... Does seem a bit too much though but you never know. Strange tings going on though...

I do really have doubts about him though and that is a strange thing I agree.

My wife has a good perspective on Glenn Beck. He's a wonderfully entertaining lecturer on aspects of American history that the left would just as soon bury, never to be remembered again.

Beyond that, he's lost any major influence in the movement outside of the "look at MEEEEE!" factor.

However for her experience, as an immigrant who loves this country, the insight on aspects of our cultural heritage as Americans has been priceless.

However she would no sooner follow him anywhere than she would a mouth-frothing lemming in the highlands...

I would hope that some day he puts together a compilation on the highlights of his show featuring his historical lectures. I would buy those and give them out as Christmas gifts.

If I remember right, this person was brought in to make the blaze website successful. Huff post is a lot of shitty things. It’s also profitable as hell.

I understand the skepticism. I have it too. The blaze became very much a click bait site shortly after. I bet their traffic also skyrocketed.

Beck has a great radio show...when Glenn’s is NOT on the air - i.e. his hosting subs are listenable, he’s not.
