Not that I'm saying the Alexandria clan are cannibals - that plot line has been used already - but the sound of children shouldn't guarantee safety.
JMO but I suspect this group really is on the up-and-up. I also suspect they'll be destroyed rather quickly - they're too good to last long in the dark world the writers have created. Safety and goodness are too boring...

Not a bad analysis. I like the idea that “our” group is
NOT the only bunch of decent people. It adds to the
believe ability of the premise of the show. To accomplish
that scenario they would need to maintain an amount of
autonomy from the existing residents in order to all
“get out of Dodge” as opposed to assimilation. Either that or
our group will change quite a few faces when the sh!t
eventually hits the fan and that probably won’t happen.
Maybe this new settlement will have its’ own version of the
governor out to displace them. Who knows?
