schumer: Senator Charles Schumer is the senior United States Senator from New York, a Democrat. First elected in 1998 by a margin of 55%–44%. Schumer was re-elected in 2004 by a margin of 71%–24% and in 2010 by a margin of 66%–33%. Before his election to the U.S. Senate, Schumer served in the US House of Representatives from 1981 to 1999, representing New York's 16th congressional district, Manhattan. A native of Brooklyn and graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School, he was a three-term member of the New York State Assembly, serving from 1975 to 1980. He is the third-ranking Democrat in the Senate. Senator Schumer is often mentioned to become the next Democratic Leader of the Senate when current Leader Harry Reid retires.

pat: buchananPatrick Buchanan has been a senior advisor to three Presidents, a two-time candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, and was the presidential nominee of the Reform Party in 2000. From 1966 through 1974, Mr. Buchanan was an assistant to Richard Nixon. After 1974, Mr. Buchanan became a syndicated columnist and founding member of three enduring talk shows: NBC’s The McLaughlin Group, and CNN’s Capital Gang and Crossfire. From 1985 to 1987, he was the White House Director of Communications for Ronald Reagan. Mr. Buchanan has written ten books, including six straight New York Times best sellers. Mr. Buchanan is currently a columnist, chairman of The American Cause foundation and an editor of The American Conservative.

ray kelly: Former New York Police Commissioner Ray Kelly was the longest serving Commissioner of the New York City Police Department (NYPD) in its history and the first person to hold the post for two non-consecutive tenures. A lifelong New Yorker, Kelly had spent 47 years in the NYPD. Kelly was a Marine Corps Reserve Colonel, Director of Police under the United Nations Mission in Haiti, and an Interpol Vice President. During the Clinton administration, Kelly served as Treasury Department Under Secretary for Enforcement, as Customs Service Commissioner. Commissioner Kelly is currently the president of Risk Management Services at Cushman Wakefield, a large real estate services company with 250 offices in 60 countries and over 16,000 employees.

general norton schweartz: Retired General Norton Schwartz is a retired United States Air Force general who served as the 19th Chief of Staff of the Air Force from August 12, 2008 until his retirement in 2012. As Chief of Staff, he served as the senior uniformed Air Force officer responsible for the organization, training and equipping of nearly 700,000 active-duty, Guard, Reserve and civilian forces serving in the United States and overseas. As a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Schwartz functioned as a military adviser to the Secretary of Defense, National Security Council and the President. He previously served as Commander, United States Transportation Command from September 2005 to August 2008. Schwartz is a command pilot with more than 4,400 flying hours in a variety of aircraft.

vincent Gentile: Vincent Gentile is an attorney and Democratic politician. A former member of the New York State Senate, he currently represents District 43 of the New York City Council, comprised of the Southwest Brooklyn neighborhoods of Bay Ridge, Bath Beach, Dyker Heights, and parts of Bensonhurst. Prior to his involvement in electoral politics, Gentile was a prosecutor in the office of the Queens County District Attorney. There he served for 11 years as an Assistant District Attorney under Richard A. Brown. Gentile is the likely Democratic candidate for New York's 11th congressional district since the resignation of Michael Grimm.

leticia james :Public Advocate Letitia "Tish" James in Brooklyn, New York) is the current and fourth ever New York City Public Advocate. She is an American lawyer, activist and politician in the Democratic Party. She previously served as a member of the New York City Council, representing Brooklyn's 35th Council District, which includes the neighborhoods of Clinton Hill, Fort Greene, parts of Crown Heights, Prospect Heights and Bedford-Stuyvesant. James has also chaired the Economic Development and Sanitation Committees, and serves on the committees for Parks & Recreation, Small Business, Technology in Government, Veteran Affairs, and Women's Issues.

bruno1: Former New York State Senator and Majority Leader Senator Joe Bruno. He represented the upstate 43rd New York State Senate District. In 1966, Bruno was on the campaign staff of Governor Nelson Rockefeller, and from 1969 to 1974 he served as Special Assistant to Speaker of the Assembly. Bruno was first elected to the New York State Senate in 1976 and was re-elected every year until his resignation in 2008. While in office, the phrase “three men in room” was coined to refer to Governor George Pataki, Assembly Leader Sheldon Silver and Joe Bruno as the 3 men who ran the state of New York. Upon his retirement, Bruno was hit with 9 counts of abusing his office. The first trial found him guilty yet on appeal he was completely exonerated. Now lives on his upstate farm and is writing a book about his ordeal.
