Does a book that shows kids how to make homemade guns belong in a science museum gift shop?
One gun control advocate says such a book has no place at Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, where Mini Weapons of Mass Destruction 2: Build a Secret Agent Arsenal is currently available for purchase
(Excerpt) Read more at nj.com ...
Why would they need a book? I thought that was a trait born in to NJ folks. No?
Good Lord! They don’t need to be taught. I made guns out of sticks, etc. Busybodies!!
better to teach them how to make or purchase good real guns
plus how to use them safely and effectively
Liberals are the most destructive force science has ever encountered.

Why stop with toys? How can you make a zip gun these days, since cars don’t have telescoping antennas any more?
That’s a pretty cool candy shooter gun.
Ironic they want the “Liberty” center to censor its book sales.
“Ironic they want the Liberty center to censor its book sales.”
That’s what I was going to say. They’re asking the wrong question. It should be: Should N.J. be able to have a science center with the word Liberty in it since it’s a Commie state?
We have that book.
I believe that New Joisey doesn’t want to give up the undeclared patent on zip guns.
I don’t know what the flap is for, really. In good ol’ Connecticut, in the late ‘60’s, when i was attending high school, we had gangs fighting in the beloved halls of learning, with knives, chains, and a zip gun or two. The principal earned his respect, with a Louisville Slugger he used to swing, on one of the ‘next in line’ baseball teams, during one such ruckus. Things settled down for the remainder of that school year, considering he put the whole school on notice, that any more offenders would be practicing with the football team, attendees or not.
Back when cars had telescoping radio antennas, making a zip gun was easy as 1,2,3.
We made guns out of sticks too. With the right stick ansd imagination, we had anything from .45’s to Tommy Guns to M60’s.
Made rubber band guns with wood and clothespins.
