CHICAGO — Evergreen Park Athletic Association Vice President Chris Janes, who first called for an investigation into Jackie Robinson West's boundary changes, says he has received several threatening phone calls, including death threats, since the team was stripped of its U.S. title Wednesday.
"We got about 50 messages," he told DNAinfo Chicago. "I only listened to a few. Some were gibberish ... saying things like 'You're an a------.' A couple said, 'You deserve to die.'"
"I'm not really concerned. People have been leaving s----- emails and voicemails."
Janes said he has support from the local police.

Probably the coach is an honest, hard working man that wasn’t worried about having his phone number in the city directory, until now.
Does anyone have any idea of the population of one of these districts? I remember playing when I was a kid and if we took the all-stars of the league we wouldn't have been close to those kids, but our entire league's population base was a few thousand.

Gotta love the lowered bar of standards that minorities allow for themselves in this land.

(CBS) The trigger for an investigation that has resulted in Chicago’s Jackie Robinson West being stripped of its U.S. title in last August’s Little League World Series was a sign congratulating one of the players in a town that resided outside the team’s boundaries, the whistle-blower told the Spiegel and Mannelly Show on Wednesday morning.
The complaint of Evergreen Park Little League vice president Chris Janes put the wheels in motion in this controversy, and his suspicions were raised when he saw a marquee in Lynwood Village calling one of the players on Jackie Robinson West their own. Lynwood Village is outside Jackie Robinson West’s boundaries.
“The first thing I saw was Lynwood’s town hall with a sign, the mayor congratulating one of the players, claiming them as one of their own,” Janes said. “Then it just became a matter of you Google a player’s name, up comes their hometown.
“You don’t have to know Jackie Robinson’s specific boundaries to know that Lansing, Lynnwood, South Holland are not part of it.”
I don't give a RAT's behind about little league baseball and whether this decision was "fair" to the team or not.
However, based on the information that Jesse Jackson, Rahm Emanuel, and creepy Obama-worshipping "priest" Michael Pfleger are holding race-baiting rallies to support "Jackie Robinson West"... I hereby OPPOSE them.

I certainly feel your position.
I think the the action by the League is unfair to the kids and stupid though, so I oppose it.
Like Bill, I don’t care about this, much. Why should a team have to live in a certain area? No one should care where the kids live.
I’m surprised that anyone said that the team lost their title because of race. In 1992, a Philippines team lost their title because some of their players were too old. That proves that race was considered, in this week’s decision, unless Jackson and Pfleger think that the league is racist against Blacks and Asians.
Well cause it's super competitive and they don't want 1 team to just be able to recruit all the good players in the area, I guess.
But still, I think this is the wrong kind of punishment. Punish the adults that were responsible for the infraction, don't rewrite history and award a trophy to a team that knows they really came in 2nd place.
Which is why adult professional baseball teams like the Chicago White Sox and Chicago Cubs are only allowed to recruit players from the north side and south side of the city, and certainly would never have a team made up of a bunch of players from Latin America and asia. ;-)

Kick the adults out.
Vacate the title. That means empty it. It doesn’t mean the team that came in second moves to first.
Can you imagine the outrage of this happened in a white area?
Because the rules of the league in which the teams choose to play say so.
That is all.
And that is enough.
They cheated. Their very existence as a team was cheating.
Away with them and with their racist supporters!
