PHOENIX (AP) Former NFL lineman and Hall of Famer Warren Sapp was arrested Monday on suspicion of soliciting a prostitute and allegedly assaulting two women, Phoenix police said.
Hours later, the NFL Network announced that it had terminated its contract with Sapp, who had been working as a broadcaster and was in Arizona for Sunday's Super Bowl in suburban Glendale.
Sapp, 42, was taken into custody at a downtown Phoenix hotel and booked into jail, police said. It wasn't immediately clear if he has an attorney.

He got fired from his NFL gig, as well.
The good news is he I’ll have more time to chase streetwalkers in Fla(Where he lives).

Is there an NFL player who is NOT a thug?
Serious question.

The arrest rate for NFL players is actually less than the general public...at least that is what was in a news report the other day. It’s just that NFL players get a lot of publicity when they break the law.

I guess “what happens at the superbowl stays at the superbowl” is not operative!

Just curious, but how many family members, friends or coworkers that you know personally have been arrested in the last ten years? I can't think of any for me.

Is there an NFL player who is NOT a thug? Well, there's that guy Cody on the Baltimore Ravens. He seems like a nice man ...
Wait.
Never mind.

There’s Michael Vick. I mean, he only did a little time.

never liked Sapp since he spoke on one of the Sports shows about his blindsiding Chad Clifton and broke his pelvis on a cheap hit. He was being admonished for it and he said basically too bad so sad.
Mike Sheman went after him right after that game telling him it was a cheap shot and he shouldn't have been running around high fiving people when at the time Clifton had lost feeling in his legs and they were afraid his spinal nerve had been damaged.
Sapp deserves every bit of this punishment and more. He is a piece of shit.
