That is how Girl Scouts announced their partnership with Yankee Candles on their website.
“These are the perfect gift for troop leaders, cookie managers and Girl Scout volunteers” they say.
Girl Scouts is offering Yankee Candles in four scents: Thin Mint, Trefoils, Coconut Caramel Stripes (Samoas) and Chocolate Peanut Butter (Tagalongs).
Sadly, Girls Scouts is also offering one additional “scent” every time they partner with Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider.
It is the scent of babies dying – a scent no amount of PR can cover.
“Our brand has always valued sharing experiences with friends and family,” said Geoff Medeiros, vice president brand and product development for The Yankee Candle Company, Inc. “We’re excited to offer consumers the chance to make memories with the beloved Girl Scout Cookies in a whole new way.”
“Expanding the Girl Scout Cookie brand to candles is a natural fit,” said Barry Horowitz, chief merchandise officer at Girl Scouts of the USA. “We are bringing together two iconic American brands to create a consumer experience that engages the senses and helps tell the story of the Girl Scout Cookie Program, which helps turn today’s girls into tomorrow’s leaders in business, finance, and beyond.”

What could be better than a candle that smells like dyke?
the last four or fives boxes of GS cookies we bought were so icky, or tasteless, or stale, that they had to be immediately recycled to the garbage can
we like supporting the GS but if they don’t get good cookies again, maybe we will just skip the cookie table and send them a cheque instead
These candles are made by a Christian family and better than Yankee any day!

You can by the same cookie, that is cheaper and fresher at Dollar General. It is sold under the name “Clover Valley”. I have had them. They last about 20 minutes, same as old GS cookies did.

These are soy....they don’t leave all that black soot everywhere...
Some local vendors have soy/non soy. I don’t care really. Just like my certain scent.

Yankee Candles are all over the expensive boutique shops and I'd NEVER pay that much for a candle, but I WILL pay for about a half a dozen boxes of thin mints .... what the hell is wrong with the GS marketers ?
I get the cheapest crap candle I can find and buy a few bottles of candle scent from Michaels .... between them and the hot wax stink pretty’s Liza have around the house ... I kind’a like just stayin’ home.

Yankee Candles is OK.. but there are better ones. They goofed with their partnering with the Lesbian Scouts.
Another fine product to NOT BUY darn. I liked the cookies, now the candles?
