Hey, he demonstrates that you don't have to be a thrash-and-slash player to be good. Slow it down a bit, you know.

And let's not talk about a player like Jimi Hendrix. What frets did he use in the beginning of 'Voodoo Chile'? Any? I know he just has to be very hard to emulate because he had a sound of his own.

Carlos Santana, like many other musicians, sold his soul to the devil. Yet that sound or note or bend or whatever it is in 'Europa' just grabs you and won't let go.

Oh yeah, I played the violin and bass very poorly. ;-)
