Hallmark Movie BRIDAL WAVE Helps Anxious Bride-to-Be Down the Aisle–Maybe! (Video)

Tonight Hallmark Movie fans are in for a romantic treat, when Golden Globe nominee Jaclyn Smith (“Charlie’s Angels”), Arielle Kebbel (“The Vampire Diaries”) and Andrew W. Walker (“A Bride for Christmas”), David Haydn-Jones (“White House Down”) star in BRIDAL WAVE, a Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere.

With her wedding day rapidly approaching, an anxious bride-to-be has doubts about her pending marriage. At a romantic island resort, she encounters a handsome kindred spirit and must now decide if her “perfect” fiancé is really her true love.

ARIELLE KEBBEL (Georgie): Arielle Kebbel made her mark in Hollywood when she was only 17, playing the recurring role of Lindsay Lister on the hit series “Gilmore Girls,” a part she won within two days of arriving in Los Angeles from Florida. It was her first audition. A natural talent with a striking screen presence, Kebbel will soon begin shooting Chris Carter’s highly anticipated Amazon series “The After.” She will also be seen in a recurring role in the new HBO series “Ballers,” starring opposite Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

ANDREW WALKER (Luke): Andrew Walker began his acting career in Montreal in 1996 as a recurring lead on the series “Student Bodies.” He was then cast as a series lead on “Back to Sherwood” and “Radio Active.” Shortly after relocating to Los Angeles, he secured a series lead role on the WB’s “Maybe It’s Me” and later landed a role on “Sabrina the Teenage Witch.” Walker then appeared in the Lifetime movies “Wicked Minds” and “Lies and Deception” and on the ABC show “Hot Properties.” In 2006, he starred alongside Academy® Award nominee David Strathairn in the film “Steel Toes.” This performance earned Walker the 2008 ACTRA Best Actor Award, along with the Phillip Borsos Award for Best Male Actor in a Feature Film at the Whistler Film Festival.

JACLYN SMITH (Felice): Jaclyn Smith has held the public’s interest as an award-winning actress, designer, inspirational cancer survivor and role model for over three decades. Managing her life and legendary career with style and grace, she loves her family, her home, gardening, Tchaikovsky, baseball, “Gone With the Wind” and her dogs. Everyone remembers her as one of the “Charlie’s Angels,” of course, and she has held many other roles since. But, she is also a pioneering businesswoman. In 1985, Smith entered the business world with the introduction of her collection of women’s apparel for Kmart stores, a partnership that continues to this day. She pioneered the concept of celebrities developing their own brands rather than merely endorsing others, as was the standard before her revolutionary launch. The Jaclyn Smith Collection for Kmart features classic styles characterized by grace and femininity, offering fresh new looks season after season while remaining true to her timeless appeal. Smith also has a line of jewelry, accessories and shoes to complement her head-to-toe clothing line. With her strong name recognition and record of success, Smith entered the home furnishings market in 2002. The Jaclyn Smith Home Collection is a natural reflection of her deep commitment to family and home. In September 2008, she launched a home collection for Kmart stores including bed, bath, living room, dining room, home décor and outdoor furniture. She also partnered with her longtime hairstylist and personal friend, the world-renowned Jose Eber, to design the Style Collection of wigs and hairpieces for retailer Paula Young. Smith has been named one of the “Most Beautiful People in the World” by Harper’s Bazaar, US, TV Guide and People Magazine (on two separate occasions). She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Bradley Allen, a pediatric cardiac surgeon, and has two children, Gaston Anthony and Spencer Margaret.

Jaclyn Smith has aged but she is still a beauty:

For fans who loved her, this is her first appearance in a long time. A very classy and elegant lady.

Will this show be forced or coerced into helping a gay couple down the aisle too? We shall see.

I’d nominate her for the most beautiful woman 50+.

People think older women fade with time but that isn’t always true.

For a woman who is 70, she still looks amazing and can hold her own with women half her age!

When she was on “Charlie’s Angels” in the 70s, every man wanted to marry her. Jaclyn Smith has a beguiling presence on the silver screen.

And she is an accomplished businesswoman as well as actress. Its hard to dislike her.

A stunning natural beauty, is what Jaclyn is. Unlike some aging actresses, uncomfortable with aging, Jaclyn doesn’t get in our faces with trying to prove how sexy she still is.
I’m talking about you, Suzanne Somers!

She doesn’t need to! There are very few women who age gracefully: Sophia Lauren, Monica Belluci, Jaclyn Smith....

And you know the old saying, beauty comes before age, I think that’s a little too trite.

Smith had a battle with cancer a couple of years ago and she’s still here and now she’s made a new movie.

I look forward to watching it later tonight.

I always thought the saying was ‘Age before Beauty” but what do I know? I only skim the topic because I grew up with quite a few sisters. All three of my sisters went to a Charm School, run by Sears and Roebuck. That was during the first Ice Age (circa 1965).

I know what you mean about Suzanne Somers but she is pushing her diet program that she believes saved her from death from cancer.

My husband was never a Farrah guy...when he was a kid, Jaclyn Smith was far and away his favorite. She was gorgeous.

She still looks okay, but IMO she would look much better if she hadn’t messed herself up with all that plastic surgery.
