Maybe I'm wrong about some things in my previous post.

I have a few questions.

Can you zoom with an iphone?

Can you bump up ISO to get better indoor or low light shots?

Does it have a flash and correct for red eye?

Can you do close ups?

Do they have image stabilization?

Can I resize a photo and upload without running it through some photo editing software so they are sized for web viewing?

What didn't I ask about it that I should have? I'm going to bed but will check back some time tomorrow. Nite all.

Yes, you can zoom with an iPhone.

Yes, you can adjust an amazing amount of settings in pre-shoot and post-shoot in the camera and in the phone.

Yes, it has a double flash set up. . . and does more than that. The iPhone 6 has a true-tone dual LED flash that has a White LED and an Amber LED that can do 1000 different color temperatures. The 6plus has optical image stabilization (done with lenses) built in while the 6 only has electronic image stabilization. . . and they both have 240 frame per second slo-mo video. You can take pictures in color and then edit them right in the camera, cropping, red-eye removal, color correction, change to B/W, sepia, HDR automatic adjustment between to images to select the best exposure and combine, close ups are possible, but as you know the best close-ups are done with a good medium range telephoto lens for greater depth of field. The closer you focus, the shorter the depth of field. Resizing both by cropping and saving for specific web purposes are available in phone. . . and sharing from the camera roll or iCloud or any album is dead easy. . . and automatically adjusted for the size appropriate.

Of the things you haven't asked, there are professional photographers that are using the iPhone as their sole camera. A full length feature film has been filmed entirely on iPhones. . . and many news papers are replacing their large format cameras with iPhones as are news crews for TV. Video is in 1080P HD. . . iPhoto shot pictures have appeared on the covers of major magazines . . . including Time, National Geographic, People, and several others.

The best camera is the camera you have with you when you need one.

Go get an iPhone 6. You will never look back.

The worse part was the initial setup. It took about 4 hours with iTunes, updates, etc.... That was it though. It’s been good ever since.
