Snow will become heavy, dropping visibility to near zero in many areas around rush-hour Thursday making for hazardous travel across the entire area.

Gusty winds will also help deteriorate visibility, drop feel-like temperatures below zero and created blowing and drifting snow.

Temperatures will remain bitterly cold as overnight low temperatures remain in the single digits, with wind chills remaining well below zero.

Its warmer here in Southern Michigan than its been all day. Its almost up to 10 degrees now.

Fixin to go out with the pups here in a few. They can handle it on their own but its only fair for me to feel the cold too.

Don’t worry. I predict global warming in 3 or 4 months.

Freezing here in Boston area too.

2 degrees when I got up this AM, 13 degrees now.

We got snow coming in now along with the cold though expected to be light falling...time will tell. The jet stream wobbles thru here so you never know what you’ll get!

Yes...it was colder than I thought would be “felt”. The wind chill made the difference here.

I lived in Providence R.I. for a winter so it can be brutal near the ocean...the cold goes right into your bones!

I must be getting old(er), This cold stuff (in Texas) is getting harder and harder to handle. It’s warmed up to 35. Sure glad I kept my ol’ Dearborn.

You escaped it but Northern Florida didn’t....things got pretty cold there. The jet stream took a dive and touched the Jacksonville area.

I put the splashers in late last January. I cleaned, greased and oiled when I took them out so they're ready to go if I need them.
