It's time to ban the burka in the US now. Which one of the new congress people will stand up and sponsor a bill. Will all good men be quiet now?

Dames wearing burkhas aint’ the problem. It’s MEN wielding weapons.
I hate this focus on nonsense to distract from the real problems.
France banned the burkha, did it solve their muslim problem?
I was in SC and almost ran into a woman in a burka at a Love’s gas station when I walked in.
People were quite agape at her.
It was the ugliest thing I have seen in a long time. Just oppressively disgusting.
Being forced to do something is slavery, not freedom of speech.
The argument that these women choose to wear a burka is a straw man. It does not detract from the issue that they are being forced by their barbarian death cult overlords to do it or face sincere penalties.
Well as long as you are promoting silly laws, how about banning grossly fat people wearing shorts, or gang-bangers wearing a necktie, or stupid costumes on dogs and cats, or ...?
So rather than banning the garment, perhaps legislation can make it a felony to force (physically or under threat of harm) someone else to wear a particular garment or uniform, unless required by military service or is standard garb for inmates.
Would something like that work? Not sure I’d be okay with a law like that, but it gets around the actual ban of the burka and addresses the underlying problem instead. Just an idea for discussion.
The civilized world needs to follow the technique of Don Vito Corleone. “Look Mr Islam religion, you have a problem that needs fixed! You fix it OR we will! And if we have to fix it, it will NOT be pretty!” (words in quotes spoken very softly)

If a woman wants to go around in a bag, that’s her business, but no one should be allowed hide behind them.
I’m for banning all masks, balaclava’s, bandannas, burkas etc. in public—with reasonable exceptions for weather or hazardous atmospheric conditions.
Aren’t threats to do bodily harm already illegal? I think threats to kill might be a felony?

I was in a narrow aisle at a store one day and didn’t hear someone come up behind me. I turned around and it was a person in a niqab. Scared the daylights out of me. Looked like Darth Vader.
I would prefer that all muslims regardless of gender, wear garb that readily identifies them as muslim. Makes it easier to avoid those with whom you should not trust...short term or long term. My opinion is any muslim that understands his own religion is a stick of dynamite just waiting for his/her fuse to be lit some Friday afternoon at the mosque.
Muslim immigrants remind me of the old country western song about picking up a snake on the highway, taking it home and then getting bit. You (thats our government) knew it was a snake when you picked it up.
We need to expell all Muslims as soon as possible.
The greater the infestation the more hate and violence will accrue.
