A couple caught shoplifting at a Lauderdale Lakes WalMart left their three young children in their car for several hours after they didn't tell deputies the kids were waiting for them, authorities said.
Gerald Moultrie and Tosheba Hope are facing grand theft and child neglect charges following their arrest Monday night, the Broward Sheriff's Office said.
Moultrie, 24, and Hope, 30, were being held on $1,000 bond early Tuesday, jail records showed. It was unknown if they have an attorney.
According to the BSO, the couple left their three young children - ages 2, 5 and 7 - in a parked car outside the WalMart at 3001 N. State Road 7 when they were arrested for theft around 7 p.m. But, the couple left out one key detail.

Toshiba?
Tosheba!
Conceived while watching porn on a Toshiba TV?
Change a letter to make it an authentic African name though.
Toesheebah queen of the Nile
Gotta go all the way...
“Toe’she’eba’h”
Although in those pants she is wearing as she runs away from the camera, it might be Cameltoesheba.
Ain’t much room in there to stash shoplifted merchandise... Might be able to stuff a few gift cards in there, but it would be a tight fit.
After it was shot, they would have been charged with cruelty to animals, too.

I worked in that mall years back and it was little africa then. Lauderdale lakes is pretty much little africa. I’d be surprised if only one street was named MLK blvd.
It’s been renovated since. But the demographics remain if not increased. If you catch my drift.
Ahh the midnights of the rocky horror picture show at the Lauderdale Lakes Mall multiplex. Hated the movie content but loved the babes that attended the show. Oh yeah.
Oops, the Walmart is ACROSS THE STREET from the Lauderdale Lakes Mall.
Yeah, that makes sense... not.
I’m taking odds that 2/3 of their baby clan will (by age 21) either: Have a criminal record, become pregnant or have impregnated someone else, or in a household receiving government assistance.
The judge released them on their own recognizance for the shoplifting charges. Really, judge? Why did you do that??
Hopefully, they will have to sit in jail for a while for the child endangerment charges.
The 7-year-old couldn’t get out of the car, walk into the store, and ask an employee for help? Wouldn’t they have had to go to the bathroom, at least?
That last condition is probably already in existence...
You know, like the queen of sheba!
‘That last condition is probably already in existence...’
Damn, you busted me. I was hedging my bet.
I would think that these kids don’t have any real coping skills and were probably just told to stay in the car. Feel sorry for the poor 7 yr old that has to deal with this situation.
Yes, you’re probably right. I hope there are decent people taking care of the children now.
