PING!!!
I believe that my husband has pre-ordered this movie.
I read it too.
While his family life was badly damaged via the stress of being in the service, this guy was EXACTLY what you’d want in a war setting. He got up every morning thinking about killing the enemy and protecting his fellow soldiers.
I very recently watched “Lone Survivor”, which was excellent. I am thinking that this movie will be excellent as well.
All the wymmens (from gammy down to grand daughters) in my family love this Bradley guy...I guess I’m gonna have to buy this DVD.
It is amazing Eastwood became such a great director. My ring tone is The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. After the smiles, if people ask I tell them the call is going to be either of these.
I’m almost done with the book. The movie looks pretty strong.
Preview looks good.
Michael Medved wondered why there were no Golden Globe nominations for AMERICAN SNIPER...He thought that the movie was well done. Medved speculated that maybe the reason was that Clint failed to support Obama...
I am sorry if this brings back bad memories to anybody.
My posting this was in NO WAY meant to do that.
To Everybody that has Served in a Combat Zone or a Non Combat Zone I Thank You for Your Service.
I was talking with My Brother today and He was in Japan during V’Nam and I learned that He was in the Hospital seeing Troops that had been injured and on the way back Home and He can’t watch any type of War shows/movies because of the flashbacks of the Hospital. I never knew about that- as far as I knew he had a desk job doing Payroll. I had no idea that He was working in the Hospital seeing the Wounded.
ottbmare- I Pray every day for Our Military to be kept safe and come Home to their loved ones and Family

Michael Medved gave AMERICAN SNIPER 4 stars. (Out of 4 stars.)
