Human compassion is being lost, and the world is a far worse place for it.

There are many examples of the wussification of the male in modern society, but I really don’t think a mentally ill person, with speech and other issues being into children’s cartoons and toys is an example of it.

In fact, a requirement of manhood is to leave the boyhood behaviors of mocking those who are different from you and picking on those who are weaker than you behind, and showing those still in that phase that they need to grow up.

I have been in social situations where people claimed bullying in school made you stronger. Those people were ALWAYS in the jock and normal sets. Other people who were smaller, or had any interests outside the mainstream, they always said high-school was miserable.

When I was 15, my friend started laughing at an old, ragged man my dad had stopped to ask for directions.

Then, I laughed, too.

Faster than you might ever imagine, my dad’s right hand flew over the back of the car seat and smacked me upside the head, without even missing a beat in his conversation with the old man.

I never laughed at anyone’s physical issues, again.

The world needs more of that.
