OK. But, what became of the Jr. Flight Attendant?
Exactly. Say what you want about Koreans, but when they apologize, it isn’t some “if someone was offended” nonsense.
SOMEONE has issues...
I know. People are so DEMANDING these days...
I am surprised her father hasn’t been forced out due to the shame
They have training...
I once ordered a plane to return to the jetway...but the doctors just increased my meds.
Were both of his hands on your shoulders?
I believe the point of the rant was not “do you know who I am “ but rather that the rules say all first class passengers are served according to our protocols.
Spoiled brat!!! An adult would have taken the opportunity to train the attendant and made the affair a win win for the airline. This little beatch cause an international stink and embarrassed the airline ( her daddy’s airline)!!!
Thanks Red! That’s the first thing I thought of when I saw “nut rage” lol
Ah sooo ........
So cute. I know for statistical fact that the Korean women are the cutest of all.
statistical fact - lol
From the story,
“Adding to her humiliation, her father and airline chairman Cho Yang-ho called her behaviour ‘foolish’ and said that he regretted that he didn’t raise her better.
He added that his eldest would resign from her executive roles at all affiliates of Hanjin, the group that controls Korean Air.”
There can be no justification for her behavior. She’s undoubtedly lived her entire life as a spoiled princess and an incident like this was probably bound to happen at some point.
Coming from an average, middle class American family, I can’t imagine how shameful I’d feel if I brought such public embarrassment to my family. I can’t even find the words to describe what it must feel like to have this happen to such a prominent family in a culture so steeped in “face” and honor as is Asian culture. For the jokesters here, if you knew anything about Korean culture, you’d know this wasn’t just some half-hearted meaningless apology. Bringing shame upon the family like this is serious business to these people and their lives will never be the same again. I pray that no one commits suicide over this.
Now that I’ve said all the serious stuff, on a lighter note, life goes on, and the culprit in this, Ms. Cho looks an awful lot like Shin Min Ah, who could star in the inevitable upcoming K-drama based on this incident.
As for the flight attendants, the lady second from the left looks an awful lot like Han Ye Seul.
And yes, if you think Korean women are some of the most beautiful women on the planet, I agree with you 100%.
Koreans have committed suicide for losing face like this.
