Goodness that is big.
Why is it blue?

It's false color. It looks white (with a bluish tint) to the human eye, like a stroke of lightning or welding arc.

If I bought a Nissan Pathfinder and had an unlimited supply of oil, gasoline, tires, and other consumable parts, I wonder how long it would take me to drive that Pathfinder around that star at the equator.
To: LibWhacker
Wow ...big kitty.
Think of the pounds per sq inch gravity
I read once that a teaspoon of matter in a black hole weighs like a supertanker
I imagine a star this big would be heavy dude for like way out
I mean our modest star pulls out to the Oort cloud which is I think over a quarter distance to Proxima Centaur I
Great post
I love this stuff...thanks Nick Sand..lol
