In March — a full two months after the GOP has held the both Congressional houses — I look forward to your posts.

‘Tis true, though it would be nice to see them say okay Obama, go ahead and do that, we have a nice impeachment waiting for you if you do.

We really ought to be praying to the Lord, (a) thanking Him for such an open door as there is and (b) beseeching Him to move through that door.

Well for starters, there is a current post on a 1986 law that requires prior notification to Congress before ANY changes are attempted to immigration law. How about an emergency appeal to supreme court? Then let`s start serious talk of impeachment. Also, if the Constitution is now null and void, what about nullification tactics at the Governor`s level? Refuse to issue IDs and licenses for illegals, and don`t honor anything issued by the feds. Don`t allow then to sign up for any state issued freebies.

The GOP, without any of their larger majority being sworn in, was going to do what against Obama for at this point
I don't know about all that, but if you just want an example of the sort of capitulation we can look forward to -- before the new congress is even seated, the GOP leadership has already thrown in the towel on the continuing resolution and will *graciously* allow the Dems to set the CR through Sep-2015, instead of Jan-2015:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3228665/posts

The GOP still controls the house, correct? Why allow the dems to control the CR for the first 10 months of the new congress when the GOP in the house can force their hand?

Unless you`ve been missing his last 6 years, there are plenty of acts of Constitutional malfeasance to choose from, as far as impeachment is concerned.

For starters, refusal to enforce immigration law, it`s his sworn duty to ENFORCE the law, not ignore it.

Hey noob, some of us feel that the current choices can be analogous to being robbed in our homes. One group would like to tie you up, smack you around in front of your family and go through your stuff while taking your valuables. The other group will tie you up, rape your wife in front of you and shoot you and your family when they're done.

I see a glimmer of hope in changing the Republican Party. I see no chance of changing the Democrats minds. Therefore, I can not vote for a Democrat. Nor can I go French and surrender while pretending it's the noble and courageous act you're portraying it to be.

“NOPE! Just tired of having to side with retards.”
************************************************************************
I definitely understand that. My personal take on Obama’s latest speech is that he is dealing in PUFFERY. He’s trying to appear as the GIANT Wizard of Oz doing monumental things. But, as of now, he gave a speech saying he’s not going to deport illegal aliens. But that is nothing new, he has for the past six years been abstaining from deportation of illegals in any large number.

When the new Congress takes their seats in January, one of the first of their orders of business is to pass BORDER SECURITY ONLY legislation. Let’s encourage our reps not to be tricked into trying to pass ANY form of Immigration Reform beyond that. Let’s see how the ‘RATS vote on true, required border security steps and whether the munchkin Obama vetoes or signs the legislation. EITHER WAY WE WIN.

Yet some of you are spamming FR with these constant piss your pants tirades over how they have all “let him get away with” amnesty.

Are you suggesting there has not been a clear pattern of this for 6 years now?

OK, in you're opinion what is the GOP going to do to prove themselves regarding this unconstitutional amnesty EO?

That is unfair to bring up facts like that. They will not be goaded into doing the right thing.

He made a speech. He didnt make any changes that can be cited to show that he did not notify Congress before making them. SCOTUS cant put an stop to an EO that hasn’t occurred. He can be impeached for lots of stuff for sure, but a speech isnt one of them.

Then there`s his refusal to enforce his signature law, Obozo Care, as it is written. Why all the changes, waivers, refusals to fully implement till after elections? Last time we checked, he isn`t in Congress anymore.

Otto von Bismarck:

“Politics is the art of the possible, the attainable — the art of the next best”

I can’t think of anything at all that I’d wish the Rat party to attain, so I’ll support the GOP.

The only difference between a lesser-of-two-evils "Republican," (Whatever TF that is nowadays), and the harder-core confrontational "Conservatives," (Whoever TF they are nowadays)is the timing of the inevitable CWII.

The RINOs of the GOPe have one of the sweetest deals in all of our brief history: I.E., no responsibility, enormous swag, and relatively safe seats. The RINO leadership, Boehner, McConnell, their pals, their families etc. have become multi-multi-multi millionaires in this system.

"Hey, Pelosi, Feinstein, Boxer, Reid,etc.
are billionaires! Why not us, too?
Just tell us what we have to do!"

They go along to get along with the Democrats, who IMNVHO, keep them as a pro-forma pet opposition. These RINO fellows know full well that the Republic is going to crash and burn. So what? They are merely making their hay while their sun shines. They have no, make that NO, NONE, incentive, to go along with ideology, constitutional philosophy, or even plain old patriotism.

In essence the "Conservatives," are saying,
" bring it on now!
and the RINOs, living the very good life, say, (and spend many millions against upstarts to back it up)
"Let's not be hasty, fellows. This is a quiet game, so please, no shouting."
