Most cops are not your “friends” trying to “help” you. Sad.

Sounds like idiots all around. Police will help you, but ego, power, and control come first. Police are all about their egos.

Cops say “he will get his day in Court” and I think they might be amazed by what a jury of his peers says.
I bet a lot of people in that county own tractors, and are starting to get up there in age.
I own a tractor and it is amazing how loud they are. City Cops vs. country landowner and you can be assured the cops “don’t know nothin’ bout country ways”.
To: Altariel
He became combative, swung at the officers, and tried to get the officer's firearm out of his holster. Bullshit.

The training works exactly as intended.

If they were just protesting, I’d have no problem with them. The rioting and looting are a bit of a deal-breaker, though.

"I always feel like police are there to protect you and take care of you," Libby Swan said.
She knows different now. She should have watched some episodes of "COPS" and she would have learned different.

The officers feared for their lives. Of course they did, little wussies.

All in all he was lucky he wasn’t killed. The police probably did not think of killing him at that time.

Me neither. As far as I am concerned, it is just two street gangs fighting it out.

My sentiments exactly. In fact, that was what I kept saying as I read the JBT’s version of what happened.
80 years old? Come ON, JBTs. You should know better than to bear false witness against someone you
could overpower without violence, or anyone else, for that matter. Cowards lie.
To: Shimmer1
They were no more afraid of him than they were afraid of a kitten.
They beat him because they wanted to beat him.

I figure that he was trying to maneuver his tractor to remove himself from the situation and they called that “trying to hit them”
