Prayers lifted....
Just lifted up prayer for you and will continue. For now, just rest in the Lord and trust that He is working in your life. May He surround you with His presence and comfort you through this difficult time.
Prayers!
A lot of people will be very happy if I’m half the ass I used to be...
You and your family are in our prayers. We’ll hold the fort while you heal.
Prayer went up for a successful surgery.
Will keep you in my prayers. Please let us know how you are doing after the surgery.
You’ll still be a pain.
Seriously. They’ll hand you a sheet of dietary “No, No’s”. Just don’t eat anything on it and get stuff ztuck in your diverticuliti...
You know the deal. Your colon will create pockets and then you’ll be in deep shit.
Good luck. They do these everyday and you’ll be fine.
I join in earnest prayer for you, dear alphadoggie!
Prayers up.

Prayer warrior ping. Prayers needed for surgery (looks like it’s today).
I will be in prayer immediately after posting this. God Bless you and give you comfort. God Guide the hands, hearts and minds of the medical team treating you.
You’re in my prayers today.
My prayers are for a successful surgery and speedy recovery. Please let us know how you’re doing.
Prayers offered up! Please stay in touch when you have recovered.
Thanks, everybody. What was supposed to be laparoscopic surgery on Monday turned into five and a half hours of open surgery, as the doc immediately found that my small intestine and large intestine were adhered together strangely and because the blood vessels in my abdomen are shorter than normal. So straightforward diverticulitis surgery got a bit complicated. Very strange to learn at the age of 43 that you have some birth defects you never knew about. Anyway, slowly on my way to recovery. Thank you for the prayers so far and would appreciate continued prayers as this will take a while!
Sorry, meant Wednesday, not Monday. Losing track of time in the hospital.

Hello alphadoggie....
Thought of you today - wondering how the recovery is going.
Hi Judy,
Thanks so much forthe thoughts. It is slow going (lots of burning pain around the incision and various other unpleasantries!), but overall I am headed in the right direction.
