Mattys back! Days after The Post exposed the militarys wrongful, 16-month-long separation of injured Army Spc. Brent Grommet and his war dog, Matty, the two were finally reunited on Friday.
Im about the happiest Ive ever been, Grommet, 23, told The Post. Grommet and Matty, who specialized in detecting IEDs, were injured when one exploded near them in Afghanistan. Grommet came back with PTSD, traumatic brain injury, migraines, severe chronic back pain and breathing problems.

Dog and trainer have been reunited.
No praise needed ; justice has been accomplished !
Christmas Shepherd Bump!
Shameless plug for the Hallmark Channel movie this coming Sunday.
If you love German Shepherds, this is what you get for the holidays. :)
“’I adopted the dog out legally, so theres nothing you can do about it,’ Vargas reportedly told Grommet’s father Don when he phoned.”
