Nazis who used that excuse after WWII were rightly mocked. But what happens when American ICE agents are asked to carry out ILLEGAL executive action orders on amnesty for illegals? Will they REFUSE to blindly "follow orders?" Also will there be a response from the ICE Agents Union on this?
Hopefully Congress will ensure that the rights of ICE agents who refuse to follow Obama's illegal orders are protected in terms of their job security.
I think ICE will not even be involved if they have a hint of anything like that.
ICE agents WILL carry out Obama’s orders. They will not risk their careers or pensions. They are government workers and have no other skills.
The Marines, Army, Air Force and Navy all folded like cheap suits over an illegal POTUS. I am trying to imagine a group not folding.
I think it comes down to what their union decides.
The exact same thought was had today. Would they follow orders? Tonight on FOX, BOR’s show, a segment was done on an ICE agent suing the government as they were attempting to keep her from doing her job. Perhaps others would follow suit and make some waves. Though many were forbidden to talk re the influx of incoming ‘young folks’, a good many did talk to US, to media, to America. One agent being interviewed was almost in tears knowing what the regime was doing to our country by throwing our doors open to every Tom, Dick and Harry. This will end but how is unknown. We only know it won’t be pretty.
You are correct sir, on all accounts, unfortunately. These guys will just follow orders. Where have we heard that before?
Perhaps the NEW Congress can declare Obama’s Executive Action ILLEGAL and notify ICE agents that those orders should NOT be obeyed.
That would require the GOP to grow a pair. I am skeptical of that, but let's hope for the best.

How many Executive Branch employees take an oath? Is the oath a pledge to the Constitution or the President?
My guess any oaths are to the Constitution.
The leader of the Judicial Branch, aka Eric Holder, believes it’s ok to ignore explicit laws he doesn’t like.
Executive employees could argue they will follow that model.

They will have to decide if they think the administration is permanent. Or if the Republicans won’t enforce the law when they get control of it. A POTUS should never place them in such a situation - but then, it’s what you might expect of a community organizer.
I wouldn’t compare anything as mundane or speculate about our ICE agents deporting illegal immigrants or not, depending upon O’s executive order to hmm, say Nazi persecution, slaughter and genocide of European Jews.
It’s not even a close call. Not even.
