You're correct. I should have stated my thoughts better. Her attorneys said at the time she was a "mother who love her children" and she "could not find any way out from the pain, so she decided to end it and keep her children from the agony" and other nonsense. They claimed that Smith "jumped out of the car at the last second, survior instinct just took over." And her latest appeal "Smith mentions 'battered woman's syndrome,' which is normally used when someone kills a spouse or boyfriend because they are being abused."

And then there were the countless female news media guests who came on television to tell the world that she was suffering "delayed postpartum depression" and that she murdered her children because "she married too young and felt trapped." Etc, etc.

All such baloney. The excuses were made because our nation could not bring itself to condemn a mother who murders her own children, because we do it legally each and every day.

Let’s cut through all the verbiage and admit it; These were merely (very) late term abortions. Those 8 babies are no deader than the 60 million killed in the U.S.A. by being cut into pieces and vacuumed out of their mother’s womb......or by saline solution, or by RU-486.....or latest-term of all, having scissors stabbed into their brain when they’ve partially exited the birth canal!
