Woke at 3:00 central. Haven’t been able to get back to sleep.
I hate insomnia.

Up early most every morning, don't need to set an alarm. Body does that for me.
I have found that an hour of two of alone time keeps me up to date on FR and allows me to finish thoughts that percolate up overnight.

Just got home from a gig. I’ll be up at least half an hour before I wind down enough to go to bed. I’m hoping I’m can sleep in until 9:30-10.

I am awake now because where I live it is on 1927. I’ll go to bed about 2200, about two-and-a-half hours from now, and get up around 0530.

I can see my workplace from where I live, so it’s just a short bike ride to get there. Nice and quiet, helps clear my mind.

I always get up at this time (around 0500 EST). My family is still asleep and I can read the news in peace.

I’m up due to shingles pain. I have spent the night on the Internet and listening to the radio.

I’m up at my regular time every morning. The older I get the earlier I get up.

You have reached my automated reply service. I am either busy or unable to come to the keyboard at this time. Please leave your post or reply and I will get back with you as soon as possible. Thank you.
Oh OK Then. I used to work evening and night shifts and my body prefers staying awake all night and sleeping in the day. Besides I can shop at night when the stores are not crowded and are freshly stocked LOL.

I work at home and basically third shift. Time change really messed with my sleeping habits.

When I was a kid, we had a toy Manchester Terrier that was clever and eager for things to do. Among other tasks, my mother had it trained to run down the hall on command and get my younger brothers up in the morning, forcing each brother out of bed and to breakfast as she separately called for them by name about fifteen minutes apart.

My husband lived through a coup d’etat last week with a tank on his street and heavy machine gun fire, so I’ve been a tad stressed. I’ve also lived in so many different time zones, don’t have to work and usually don’t care much I sleep ridiculous hours. Drinking some Sleepy Time tea though. (I’m also pretty much a FreeRepublic addict- just can’t tear myself away.)

The rousting them by name part is impressive.
To: Rockingham
Hope you can get some relief from that and get better soon.

I’m really a night owl, but I started back to work last week (from retirement) and I have to be there at 5:45, and now I am awake and cannot go back to sleep...so I might as well get up! ;)
