Ping.
When they are going to behead you if you lose, it is a lot easier to fight hard.
They are being bled out slowly and it will cost them dearly.i wonder how the drop in their oil revenue is working out for them?
Wait, did they held elections this week and they tried to be Democrats?
I always believe the Associated Press.
It’s amazing that so many wonderful things are happening in the world after the Republican won in a landslide on Tuesday!
I spent probably too much time today watching YouTube vids of the Kurds fighting in Kobani, and other battles going back nearly a year. The swarming tactics of the ISIS haven’t worked worth a crap against the ridiculously outnumbered Kurds. They can only sustain their swarm for a limited period of time, because it draws air attacks, so they fall back, split up, reload, lick their wounds, and swarm again. The Kurds have told the Turks that if Kobane falls, there will be no more Kurd-Turk peace talks.
Thanks. I remember it was only 3 or 4 wks ago when some here said don’t bother Kobani will fall. Kurds have done a great job & put in a great effort fighting IS.
Taking the ground and holding the ground are two different things. It looks like they don’t have a plan for holding it. Ooops.
The Peshmerga are coming.
It’s going to get interesting for the Islamic State fighters; increased resistance against their advance and internal fighting by one IS group against another IS group. IS is made up of various Muslim groups that have traditionally loathed and despised each other. Things are very unsettled in the IS because fighters are not certain who their enemy actually is.
I read whilst they were on defensive last several wks, they’re now attacking. Thats good. Any plan shouldn’t be publicized of course. But, there are couple of Islamist iraqi kurds who are fighting with IS. originally from Halabja in iraq though been in Syria for a while & know the terrain, mentality, and language of other Kurds. Whereas Pesh are unfamiliar with this new environment. That’s an advantage for IS. Plus Kurds still need heavy weapons or generally more weapons & ammo.
