I some other election sweeps the losing party had many resignations. will there be any this time?
I don’t know, but if we get to 60 things will really begin to happen.
There should be some. Those guys don’t like having perks taken away from them. It’s embarrassing. So, if they’ve stolen enough to be set for life, they’ll leave.
There's a growing sentiment here on FR that West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin will switch to the GOP, though. That would be an interesting turn of events. It seems like he's the only Democrat left in public office in that state.
Reminds me of the riddle my dad used to play on us:

And how many surviving dems will switch party affiliation in the House and/or Senate to be on the winning majority side?
Well, I think Wasserman-Shultz is finished.
The better question is how many will switch party to Republican.

I expect that Mark Levin’s prediction will come true and he will go full Mussolini as he tries to punish the American people for rejecting him. He IS that banal.

Democrats are delusional as anyone. How many will recognize that it’s progressiveism where in the problem lies. Socialism and Marxism are the problem. They don’t work. The 60s unicorn and flowers in your hair internationalism doesn’t work. Yes, Muslims are nasty folk you don’t want to live around and any attempt to equate them with Christans, Buddhists and Daoists ignores the basic tenants of Islam. Likewise, communists and fascists are not misunderstood nice people, they are inherently evil.
3 in Senate. 6 in House.
I don’t know about immediate resignation, but I suspect Reid will resign at the end of his term. He’s a millionaire several times over (nice land investment there, Harry), he’s 74, and there’s not much left for him to do.
I also suspect he’s getting very tired of flacking for Obama. Reid’s a shifty old scalawag, but I think even he realizes Obama is incompetent.
She was finished a long time ago — she just didn’t know it.
There will be a big house cleaning in the Senate of soon to be former staffers for losing Democrat Senators. Hundreds will be looking for new jobs.
