Jeff Beck has had a cute bass player in his ensemble - Tal Wilkenfeld.
Incredible guitar player. I’ve seen him perform.

“Incredible guitar player. Ive seen him perform.”
That’s an understatement! I took Dr.Z(Mike Zaite) and Neil Zaza to see Beck. When he played “A Day In The Life,” our jaws were on the floor!
Outstanding!
I sent this to my nephew who is hot with the guitar as a matter of fact played at Carnegie Hall one time as a warmup for the main act.
She’s not just cute, she’s an exceptional bassist and, having heard Hendrix, Clapton, and Beck live, no doubt in my mind that Beck is the greatest guitarist ever.

Agree, however, IMO Alvin Lee w/10 Years After is a pretty close second!
Reminds me the Regime, under Holder’s “Justice” (cough, cough) Dept carried out a SWAT raid against Gibson Guitar; makes of the Les Paul guitar.
Hendrix is #2, then Clapton, then Page, Vaughn, and Van Halen. After that, in my book, the drop-off is so severe as to not warrant discussion. There were some very, very fast players like Yngvie Malmstein and Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, but again, they were more about flash and less about actually controlling the song.
First date with wife, (1996), heading out to a Shakespeare play - "what's in your tape deck"?, two seconds after I push play, she said: "Mmmm, Goodbye Pork Pie Hat - Wired is my favorite Jeff Beck, too".
We married the next year.
bumping to watch later
Perhaps of interest.
bump for later viewing/listening.
Allan Holdsworth is pretty amazing. I've never heard anyone play like him.
