TOWN OF DANE, Wis. -
The Dane County Sheriffs Office is trying to determine who shot three pigs in their pen in the town of Dane.
Deputies were called to 7503 Lodi-Springfield Rd just after 6 p.m. on Saturday by a farmer who reported three pigs had been shot.
One of the pigs was dead, and the other two were injured severely enough they had to be euthanized.

As they say pigs are among the smartest animals, I won’t get into the argument as to whether they are smarter than man’s best friend. But I hope they capture the buzzard who would do such.
Any muzzies nearby?
Why do people have to kill animals when you get meat in grocery stores, duh...
“In the town of Dane.” Someone did not like the smell, guaranteed.
In Nevada, some yahoos would get a kick out of shooting the wild horses from the highway. I know that there are a lot of ranchers that wanted to rid themselves of the mustangs but wanton destruction for the sake of enjoyment and killing for pleasure alone turns my stomach.
Severe dent in the Dane County Democratic steering committee!
Muzz.
However, in Dane, on farms the smell of pigs is most likely the smell of money.
I know a guy in a small southern town who asked my brother in law one night if he had any .22 shells. My brother in law gave some to the guy. A farmer discovered a bunch of dead pigs the next morning. Long story short, the pig killer went to prison. Now he’s the mayor. True story.

Very few pigs nowadays are in pens in a barnyard. You can go to Iowa where 27 million hogs live and you will never see one of them.
Look for neighbors who belong to the religion of pieces.
Muslims?
I visited a large hog farm in Tidewater, Virginia. I was impressed by how clean and modern it looked.
Then the smell hit me.
There was once a huge chicken processing plant in my home town. It stunk to high heaven. Then in the last few years before it closed they somehow figured out a way to kill the odor. I have no idea how but they did.
Maybe they can do the same with hog farms.
