More than 1,400 Non-Citizens on NC Voting Rolls
Breitbart ^ | 10-27-2014 | Caroline May

The North Carolina State Board of Elections revealed Friday that it looked at data from the N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles and Department of Homeland Security and found that 1,425 are likely non-citizens and therefore ineligible to vote.

“We are working to ensure that no ballot cast by a non-citizen will count in this or any future election,” State Board of Elections Executive Director Kim Westbrook Strach said in a statement. “Our ongoing partnership with DMV strengthens the integrity of our elections process and security of the voter rolls.”

Of those non-citizens on the voting rolls, the State Board of Elections confirmed that 109 illegal immigrants who have been shielded from deportation and allowed to obtain work permits and drivers licenses through President Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, are included in the voting rolls. They are also ineligible to vote.

You could, but INS would just turn them loose.

I wonder how many illegals vote here in CA where we have millions of them and lax voting requirements. We give illegals driver’s licenses here in CA. And of course no one bothers to check ID when you go and vote. Is it no wonder that CA has become a one-party socialist dictatorship where we tax businesses to death and cannot tap our vast oil and water resources?

Don’t just not let them vote. ARREST them for voter fraud, and deport them from the country.

As the story says, Jerry Brown is only in office because of the Hispanic vote. Anglos are overwhelmingly opposed to him.

I'd like to see them arrest them all. Maybe the rest of the country would wake up.

Probably not.

Why do businesses stay in CA? They must suffer from Battered Wife Syndrome.

There is no law on the books that could prevent NC from prosecuting each and every one of them to the fullest extent of the law.

It's only through complicit cowardice this does not occur.

The only way would be to have some of your business off the books. I know some who like to deal in cash.

I received a summons for Federal jury duty. I know that the list of potential jurors for Federal jury comes from the voter rolls. I know because my middle name is on my drivers license but not on my voter registration. My superior court jury summons show my middle name and my Federal summons does not show my middle name. Anybody who tries to get out Federal jury duty because they are not citizens should do jail time before they are deported.

It’s a good question. When I moved to CA in the 1980s, CA had one of the most dynamic economies not just in the US but in the entire world. We were the envy of the world with our entertainment industry, aerospace industry, high tech industry, finance, agriculture, and many other industries as well. We still have great weather. But thanks to illegal immigration and demographic changes, the state has turned solidly blue. But we’re not the only ones. Obama would have still won in 2008 and 2012 even if CA had voted Republican in those elections. The whole country is going to hell, and CA is leading the way. Texas, too, has experienced major demographic changes in recent years. If Hispanics in Texas vote as strongly Dem as they do in CA, Texas will soon be facing the same problems.

The article does not explain the methodology used to determine if they are illegal.

It sounds like they simply took a list of the names of people who signed up for the DREAM Act and compared it to the voter rolls.

There could be a hundred thousand illegals on the voter rolls for all they know.
