Of course, Americans don't like the GOP because it doesn't suckle off the American money nipple. Doesn't say much for us, does it?
Well, her very presence in Congress is an unConstitutional fraud on the nation so her spouting more unConstitutional drivel is not to be unexpected.
They are EXEMPT .. from Law they pass for others.
Founders: “governs at the consent of the governed”
Modern ‘rats: “we know better”
At least she was bing truthful and exposing her true feelings which will probably result in her losing the next election. The Dms are giving us great fodder to use against them lately and they are doing it to themselves.
This will come in handy when President Cruz implements his agenda along with Senate Majority Leader Mike Lee and Speaker of the House Marsha Blackburn.
Oh, trust me. We KNOW what’s going on. Can we stop it? Not so sure we can...
The first time I heard this it made me sick to my stomach.
Now at 6:40 am, I get to experience the nausea once again.
With the massive vote fraud going on - Democrats do not have the legitimate authority to govern.
How about a government "of the people, by the people, and for the people government?
We the people instituted this government to serve us not for us to serve it.
Denying us information would be like an employee denying the owner information about his company.
Like so many Democrats, she is eager to part of the ruling elite and treat her fellow citizens as serfs. That she is even a non-voting member of congress is an embarrassment to both congress and the District of Columbia she 'represents'.
I just started reading, “Gulliver’s Travels” and read a wiki entry about the book and found this.

Cultural influences
‘From 1738 to 1746, Edward Cave published in occasional issues of The Gentleman’s Magazine semi-fictionalized accounts of contemporary debates in the two Houses of Parliament under the title of Debates in the Senate of Lilliput. The names of the speakers in the debates, other individuals mentioned, politicians and monarchs present and past, and most other countries and cities of Europe (”Degulia”) and America (”Columbia”) were thinly disguised under a variety of Swiftian pseudonyms. The disguised names, and the pretence that the accounts were really translations of speeches by Lilliputian politicians, were a reaction to an Act of Parliament forbidding the publication of accounts of its debates.’
Aside from this stupidity (where she apparently thinks “separation of powers” means separating power from the people and to the government) the left has already skewed the language in the regard.
E.g., I often hear in the news about whether or not the govt has the “right” to do something.
Actually, the govt doesn’t have ANY rights. Only the people do.
Govt has authority, granted by the people. Nothing more.
That authority can be taken away by the people.
The left doesn’t like that, so they always want to say things like “govt has the right...”
NEVER accept this phraseology and correct it whenever you hear it.
I think it is time that we monitor EVERY action and word of every politician (since they monitor practically everything we do and say) and have that information readily available to everyone on the Internet.
“You dont have a right to know everything in a separation-of-powers government, my friend.”
You are NOT my friend, Eleanor.
This attitude is pervasive at all levels.
I can’t tell you how many times I have heard people say that some things should not be trusted to the people to vote on, on the local level. There are plenty of complete totalitarians among us.

I know it’s shocking, but she sang a very different tune when a Republican was President:

Ms. NORTON. Mr. Speaker, today, I reintroduce the United States
Commission on an Open Society and Security Act, expressing an idea I
began working on when the first signs of the closing of parts of our
open society appeared after the Oklahoma City bombing tragedy, well
before 9/11. This bill has grown more urgent as increasing varieties of
security throughout the country have proliferated without any thought
about their effect on common freedoms and ordinary access. The bill I
introduce today would begin a systematic investigation that takes full
account of the importance of maintaining our democratic traditions
while responding adequately to the real and substantial threats
terrorism poses.
To be useful in accomplishing its difficult mission, the commission
would be composed not only of military and security experts, but for
the first time, they would be at the same table with experts from such
fields as business, architecture, technology, law, city planning, art,
engineering, philosophy, history, sociology, and psychology. To date,
questions of security most often have been left almost exclusively to
security and military experts. They are indispensable participants, but
these experts cannot alone resolve all the new and unprecedented issues
raised by terrorism in an open society. In order to strike the balance
required by our democratic traditions, a cross cutting group needs to
be working together at the same table.
For years now before our eyes, parts of our open society have
gradually been closed down because of terrorism and fear of terrorism—
whether checkpoints at the Capital even when there are no alerts or
applications of technology without regard to their effects on privacy.
However, particularly following the unprecedented terrorist attack on
our country, Americans have a right to expect additional and increased
security adequate to protect citizens against this new frightening
threat. People expect government to be committed and smart enough to
undertake this awesome new responsibility without depriving them of
their personal liberty. These years in our history will long be
remembered by the rise of terrorism in the world and in this country.
As a result, American society faces new and unprecedented challenges.
We must provide ever-higher levels of security for our people and
public spaces while maintaining a free and open democratic society. As
yet, our country has no systematic process or strategy for meeting
these challenges.
Uhhh . . . there are more than one.
Here is another one who essentially said the same thing, in different words:
Pelosi: "We Have to Pass the Bill So That You Can Find Out What Is In It."
