Obama, the former Illinois senator, knows what it will mean for the last two years of his presidency.

"If we lose the Senate, for one thing, the way this Senate's been operating, they could end up blocking all my appointments so that I can't get the people I want to be in a position to move my agenda forward," he said in an interview last week on the "Rickey Smiley Morning Show." ''If we lose the Senate, I guarantee you they're going to try to roll back health care legislation again."

The new committees would be filled in January or February.

At least the gun-grabbing Surgeon General choice. Even the Dems can’t stomach that.

Republicans don’t have to “roll back” health care. They can simply return to conscientious budgeting and submit spending bills with specific authorizations and the levels of spending. If republicans do not offer any funding for a stipulated purpose, they should include language that there shall be so reassignment of funds for any purpose not authorized in the spending document, irrespective of prevailing priorities. If there is interest in funding something not specifically authorized, a new bill requesting it should be introduced.

Won’t happen.

The GOPe controlled both houses of Congress and the White House before, they did not defund Planned Parenthood, NPR or PBS did they? They did not really cut any spending.

As Boehner said in 2010 “ObamaCare is the law of the land and it will be funded”

Typically,yes it would.

But remember, we’re talking about republicans here.

If Harry whines loud enough they’ll probably let the dems keep 50% of the chairmanships.

Definitely will. When the SHTF in 2015 with Obamacare, every Republican wants to be on record that they tried to kill it. I would go so far to venture that Democrats up for reelection in 2016 also vote to kill it.

Everyone is going to throw this back into Obama’s court and are going to force his veto.

The senator (McCain) who lost to Obama in the 2008 presidential election has never suffered fools — or equivocating witnesses — gladly...

Other than himself, of course.

With a minority in the senate, what was he to say? Republicans take the majority Obamacare is going bye bye, unless Obama vetoes any vote. Millions are about to lose their insurance.

No one wants this attached to them in 2016.

Definitely will.

No, they won't. Repealing it would require they come up with an alternative.

Won't have to. Any move to repeal will never make it past the filibuster.

Millions are about to lose their insurance.

Millions would lose their insurance with a repeal, too.

What filibuster? Either deem it like the rats did Obamacare or go nuclear, since Harry Reid opened that door.

And having screamed like crazy when Reid did change the filibuster rules for appointments, how is it going to look if the GOP goes even further and drops it for legislation as well?

Who cares? You do it in January and you have two years to change whatever you want. Screw the MSM. Was a matter of fact, I would go so far as to bring up the fairness doctrine as a bill. Change it to hurt the Slimes, MSNBC, etc. Watch the rats scream.
