Cutcliffe is an interesting idea. I don’t think he’d take it..one big reason is age..he’s 61..be 62 next year..again..UF recruiting is way down..it’s a 2-3 year turnaround..he doesn’t need it..

My theory is that Fisher wasn’t happy with all of the blowouts last year and was concerned that he might be developing the kind of reputation that would be unkind to him in years to come...I think that FSU has intentionally come out in the first half attempting to play conservatively and feature other facets of the game besides the pass.
Come second half, Fisher has turned Winston loose and FSU has stormed back and overcome whatever deficit that the team has faced...There isn’t a defense in the country that can contain Winston when he wants to move down the field. He is probably the best pure passer since...drum roll please...a guy named Joe Willie, I think he played at a place called, ‘Bama or something like that...

If you can't even win your own conference, then you should not be considered for the final four.
For instance, it would be a sin for, say, two or more teams from the SEC---like Mississippi State and Alabama---to be selected for the final four, when only one of those teams can win the SEC conference championship game, even though those two teams might be considered the two best teams in the country at the end of the season.
You should not be allowed two bites of the apple: That is, you should not be allowed to face a team again in the four team playoffs that you lost to in the conference championship game.
If there is a Big 10 on the rise, it’s Penn State...they’ll win the conference in 2 years.
...can’t imagine how you figure that...they are too far behind OSU...maybe in the West they’d win soon, but not while they play againnst the Buckeyes...
