That’s the ticket. I’m sure that any connection between the collision of a 10-km, mountain-sized rock with the Earth at speeds exceeding 20 km per second and a global catastrophe leading to the extinction of more than 90 percent of all fossil families is purely coincidental.
But you see, by linking it to “climate catastrophes” you get millions in grant money and national publicity .. because! .. the administration paying for your research money NEEDS more climate change disaster stories for their carbon taxes and Paris treaty next year!
