FULL TITLE: Kentucky Sunday school teacher admits sexually abusing teen who he threatened to kill using witchcraft if the boy told anybody about the attacks
A Sunday teacher has been charged with abusing a teenage boy after an investigation by an investigation by Eubank Sheriff's Department in Kentucky.
Rex Allen Murphy, 30, has been charged with first-degree sexual abuse, use of a minor under 18 for sexual performance and third-degree sodomy.
Murphy was taken into custody and is being held in Pulaski County Detention Center where he is being held on a bond of $50,000.

This, boys and girls, is how we define the phrase "I'm having a bad day" in Kentucky.
What is that supposed to mean?
That bond amount itself is a heinous crime in my opinion. It should be at least 10 times that amount.

Or adult for that matter. This person is a sexual predator. This person manipulates the victim however he can in order to get what he wants. In this case, telling the victim that he was a witch worked. It scared the victim psychologically.
Shouldn’t “Rex” be on the list of true-crime names with Ray, Wayne, and Lee?
I only asked the age question because the older teens I know would never believe a witchcraft story. The inference is this could be a pretty young victim.
Or from an ethnic background in which what we consider silly superstitions are everyday reality.

Eubank, KY, also has a Polly Ann Baptist Church. Maybe there’s a “Polly Ann Creek” or something that provided the names.
Around here, Church of God (the one attended by the perp) is a largely black denomination.

The predator will always be found near its prey. You can be damn sure that child molesters are as close as they can get to children all over, everywhere, and they are plotting all the time how to get what they want.
Without going into excessive detail, when I was 6 years old I was dropped off by school bus at a woman’s house who baby sat a great many children until their parents could pick them up after work.
Her husband, Julius, was a child molester.
He told me and a number of other male children that he had a moon rock in his garage, and he would then take children in one at a time to look at this rock.
He took me in one day and showed it to me. It was a hunk of concrete spray painted blue. He told me if I took “it” out and let him touch it, he would let me touch the moon rock.
I said no, and then he let me leave. it was that evening I told my mother of Julius and what he did at this house, and then all Hell broke loose.
I wonder though how many young boys agreed to his proposition.
I also recall that one of his sons, he had three, an older boy in his early teenage years, used to tell odd lies to us younger children, such as he would put soap powder on us and then tell us that it was poison, and that we would die in three days if he did not cure it for us.
That seems like a suspicious thing to say considering the circumstances of that house. I wonder if his father told him that line on occasion...
Anyway, these are evil people. They deserve the absolute worst.

My wife once volunteered to help run a Girl Scout summer day camp at a local park in a good neighborhood. By Day Two there were single men in the distance just watching. All campers were escorted to the restroom, of course.
They hang out around anyplace young kids might be - like Sunday school.
