W I R E D cannot be directly posted or excerpted from, but they have a somewhat relaxing article about something called "Nature Zen", in this case recordings about various birdcalls and songs in the early morning in Costa Rica and Queensland Australia (Bewdy!).
Lots of links and recordings available at the site, and be careful you do not fall asleep listening to them. :)
Ignore the link at the top of the thread, it only leads back to the FR index page -have you donated yet?
Here is the link to the article:

Kind of graphics heavy due to the pics, so you are warned.
Hope some of you find some restful recordings to help you smile. :)
This summer we turned our balcony into a bird sanctuary. It works well because the whole wall to the balcony is glass.
Well, I am normally not into bird-watching, especially since it drives the cats around here crazy when they see one -especially up close, but I found a recording or two there that really seemed quite peaceful and memorable. Hope you find the same.
Thanks much for the clickable link, no doubt. :)
You’re welcome. Some of us require instant gratification. Not me, of course ;)
