Ezekiel Emanuel and the Skeletal Grin of Collectivism
The Federalist ^ | October 2, 2014 | Robert Tracinski

Posted on 10/04/2014 12:10:00 PM PDT by right-wing agnostic

Ezekiel Emanuel’s article on why he hopes to die at 75 has been a revealing little moment in the debate over ObamaCare and the government’s role in health care. It’s disturbing practical implications have been described succinctly in The Federalist:

When Ezekiel Emanuel popped onto the national stage during the Obamacare deliberations, some of us had serious misgivings. We were familiar with his previous work, such as his ‘complete lives system’ of allocating health resources. This would have prioritized adolescents and young adults in receiving health care and put infants and the elderly at the end of the line…. Many Obamacare critics worried such an allocation system would be used sooner or later to ration services within the program. So when he talks about what age he thinks people should die at, he’s not just giving his own opinion as a private citizen. He’s giving an opinion that has the power to influence whether or not a government-run medical system decides to pay for your care. So he really is issuing a rule for you, not for him.

(As a corrective to some of Emanuel’s dubious facts, also check out an article—in the very same issue of the very same magazine—laying out the real trend: soon, we’re all going to live to 100, and rather than extra years of decrepitude, we will mostly get extra years of vitality.)

If Zeke is not dead by age 75 I expect him to commit suicide. His failure to do so will render him a hypocrite of the first order.

This will NOT apply to all.

The EXEMPT Congress will be SPARED at 75
unlike other Americans.

The EXEMPT Congress and EXEMPT Islamists and EXEMPT felons
(whom they made EXEMPT, too, in their wisom and greed)
will be spared all THE HELL they have made for others.

The average man lives longer than 75 years old by 9 years, and women live 11 years on average longer.

So what do we do with them? Mix them in with the dog food.

I've met a lot of hypocrites in my lifetime. None of them have been driven to suicide by the fear of actually acting hypocritically. Dr. Zeke won't be either.

Agreed. Reminds me of the population growth wacko’s 40 years ago who claimed the world was overpopulated and people needed to follow the Maoist system of one child per family, or no children at all. I asked them if the world is so overpopulated and you’re really concerned and committed to helping solve the problem, why don’t you kill yourself and contribute to the reduction? Never got anything more than “that’s crazy” or a blank stare from them as an answer. Oh well, I did try to rid the world of some of it’s idiots, but it seems like they’re still around and voted for obama.

That premise—that the individual lives only for the sake of the collective and must justify his existence by his service to society—is something that most on the left will not state fully and openly any more. The era of doctrinaire collectivism has passed, but it lingers on as a poisonous hidden premise. It is the skeletal grin that persists long after the corpse of Communism—and of its millions of victims—has decomposed.

Look up into the night sky and, counting the galaxies that appear to be stars, there are trillions of stars in the universe, and billions in our own galaxy. Of those stars, there are uncounted quadrillions of planets and civilizations. God's work is without end.

Now, of all of those uncountable civilizations, there are those which live, grow, mature, and explore - and those which die by suicide.

The determining factor is always, in one form or another, how each civilization handles collectivism. If a civilization realizes that collectivism is nothing other than death, it jails and/or executes all of its collectivist before they can jail and/or execute the entirety of the civilization. If they fail at this, they die. Collectivist have no end game, no matter what kind of endless lies they tell. They are sadistic, suicidal parasites, living only to indulge in their perversion of eating the fruits of goodness, morality and civilization - all in the name of goodness morality and civilization (they believe the effectiveness of that core lie is the proof of their superior intelligence).

They recruit people who "want to get ahead" and "want to be safe" but who they know actually, in reality, want comfortable chains and happy servitude and who are willing to help murder their fellow humans as long as they are provided socially acceptable denial mechanisms and, when those aren't enough, prescription drugs. In other words, they tempt the weak to be corrupt, then cruel, and then killers - even if it means demanding that they destroy their own families (in fact, that's actually a requirement to show "loyalty").

And that is the type of person Ezekiel Emanuel is whispering to, with a grin on his face and blood dripping from his mouth.

Look at the stars. Our test to get there is not in our development of technology. It is in how we deal with the Ezekiel Emanuels of our world.

Winner take all.

Zeke is actually a bigger tool than his little brother. He takes obnoxiousness to a whole new level.

He’s the margaret sanger harris disciple that told us that these plans would ultimately have to “attenuate” our provided coverage as we age,

Meaning as we get older, we’ll be counseled to just go home and die, and hurry up doing it as we’re using up valuable resources,

Of course these same restrictions on healthcare availability and coverage wont apply to our new overlords,

Any society that begins devaluing its young and its old, is readying itself for judgement,

Does anyone expect these comments to apply to the ruling class? They don’t, any more than 0bamacare does.

Obama has granted the ruling class an exemption from these comments.
