Yeah, east of the Rockies. It still doesn’t look good for California.

Mmogamer:" Another colder than average winter?"
Over a month ago , Joe called for this winter to be a duplicate of last years weather
or ,.. you could buy a copy of the Farmers Almanac , which belatedly reaffirms Joe's prediction
Now , where are my plug-in 'Long Johns' ?
To: Excellence
Bad puns aside, Joe is a REAL meteorologist, as opposed to the PC-media inserted white-guy weather girls you see on your local newscasts reading NWS forecasts from a teleprompter.

It’s 60 degrees here in Massachusetts, which is very cool for the first week in October.

We’re supposed to get close to 100, but that remains to be seen.

Thanks as always for posting!
Here in SC, our low tonight is supposed to be in the low 40s....probably high 30s are our house. Todays sky has been clear beautiful blue. Tonights low is pretty unbelievable for this time of year.

Here in Red Hampshire, my local long-range AccuWeather (Joe’s former home) forecast doesn’t show one single night below 36 degrees until November 1st. We are still picking tomatoes, and will continue for a few more weeks.

My husband picked some tomatoes today. Other than that, all we have left is jalapenos, sage, parsley, chives and flowers.

You are right...it is forecast to be colder around your neighborhood (upcountry, western NC, east Tennessee and such) TONIGHT than it is forecast for the state of Red Hampshire until November 1st.
Weird. I wonder if the illegals are out picking the green tomatoes in the fields of east Tennessee right now?

Picked a couple of dozen quarts of cherries yesterday, with plenty more where they came from...wife will be busy with salsa, minestrone soup, drying tomatoes and so forth for several days... :-)
