Parents of 9-year-old boy with special needs who died weighing 17 pounds and was found locked in his 'feces-covered room' are charged with murder

A husband and wife have been charged in the death of their 9-year-old son, whose decomposing body was found in a 'feces-covered room' in their home this past August.

Police filed criminal homicide charges earlier today against Kimberly A. Tutko and Jarrod N. Tutko Sr., of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, saying their neglect caused the death of their son Jarrod Jr.

Jarrod Jr., who was diagnosed with Fragile X syndrome as an infant, weighed just 17 pounds at the time of his death, and had been locked in his bedroom by his parents.

It’s a genetic disease inherited through the mother. Basically the X chromosone is “crooked” or misshapen; hence the name “fragile X”. It presents in both females and males but since females have a 2nd X chromosone, the symptoms are typically less severe than in boys. Many cases diagnosed as autism or autism-spectrum are suspected of being Fragile X. A friend of mine has a son with it.

Where did the parents, a laughable title for them, get their black soul syndrome? Probably the same corner of satans realm that the the destroyers of family in our government come from. These two need to be put down rapidly, there is no chance that they will ever feel remorse, so send them to hell fast! Lord cherish the child.

“Aside from intellectual disability, prominent characteristics of the syndrome may include an elongated face, large or protruding ears, flat feet, larger testes (macroorchidism), and low muscle tone.[3][4] Recurrent otitis media (middle ear infection) and sinusitis is common during early childhood. Speech may be cluttered or nervous. Behavioral characteristics may include stereotypic movements (e.g., hand-flapping) and atypical social development, particularly shyness, limited eye contact, memory problems, and difficulty with face encoding. Some individuals with fragile X syndrome also meet the diagnostic criteria for autism.

Males with a full mutation display virtually complete penetrance and will therefore almost always display symptoms of FXS, while females with a full mutation generally display a penetrance of about 50% as a result of having a second, normal X chromosome.[5] Females with FXS may have symptoms ranging from mild to severe, although they are generally less affected than males.”

Look at the pictures of these parents. They passed on their genetic disorders to their son and then just allowed him to starve to death.

I am heart broken and speechless. These folks should have never had the number of children they had PLUS they should have never been allowed to keep these poor babies

Really? When it comes to these sorts of things I am rarely accused of that.
Perhaps drawing and quartering?
