Killing Patton: The Strange Death of World War II's Most Audacious General
http://www.amazon.com ^ | September 23, 2014 | Bill O'Reilly and Margin Dugard

Readers around the world have thrilled to Killing Lincoln, Killing Kennedy, and Killing Jesus--riveting works of nonfiction that journey into the heart of the most famous murders in history. Now from Bill O’Reilly, anchor of The O’Reilly Factor, comes the most epic book of all in this multimillion-selling series: Killing Patton.

General George S. Patton, Jr. died under mysterious circumstances in the months following the end of World War II. For almost seventy years, there has been suspicion that his death was not an accident--and may very well have been an act of assassination. Killing Patton takes readers inside the final year of the war and recounts the events surrounding Patton’s tragic demise, naming names of the many powerful individuals who wanted him silenced.

The Germans didn’t want him dead. He had them back in uniform and drilling within weeks of taking over in Bavaria. He had the power, water, and sewer running quickly. He had secured food and repair materials for the civilians.

They admired him. They grew to love him prior to his relief by Eisenhower the Politician. They would have followed him into battle.

I doubt seriously it was the Germans.

Patton was headed home and out of the Army. He did plan to write a book but then again every General and Admiral in the war of note did so to.
It was an accident, nothing more or less.
Of course there have been multiple conspiracy theories on this and the movie “Brass Target” had a pretty good plot line on this also with a unique way of staging that accident.

Do you know what O’Reilly thinks of Free Republic?

He’s a jerk. This morning on “Fox and Friends”, after watching the video of Obongo “saluting” the Marines with his coffee cup, Bill laughed and said, “Cut the guy some slack.”

Image of Patton's car in museum Next image is of plaque explaining this car's history:
"1938, Series 75, Cadillac Limousine

At the end of World War II the US Army used a number of the series 75 Limousines manufactured between 1938 and 1942. As commander of 15th Army and (in December 1945) the ranking general in Europe, General Patton had one assigned to him. The cars varied little from the production models. They were painted Olive Drab and had US Army markings. This car had "flipper arm" turn signals and parking lights added to it. After this accident the entire front body was replaced with parts from a 1939 model Cadillac made by Cadillac-France. Parts of the grill were locally made. This gives the sedan the unique appearance it has today.

After it was repaired the sedan was returned to service as a US Constabulary staff car. It was later used by GEN. I. D. White.

Rereading stuff: It was a glancing low speed collision between the vehicle he was in and a GMC CCKW truck driven by Sergeant Robert L. Thompson.
He smacked his head on the glass partition of the Caddie.
Broke his neck, spinal cord severed.
Died of pulmonary edema.

It was a 1938 Cadillac Model 75 Sedan.

Yes. And the car was not on it’s intended route as the driver had taken a wrong turn. So, if it was a conspiracy, the driver was involved.

“Hey, you take this route, we’ll crash into you, but you won’t be hurt, we’ll just kill Patton in the back seat.

Sound legit...

It was Ronald Reagan who began the tradition of saluting the guards. And Reagan how to salute. This treasonous soebarkah animal thinks of that cadre as his “corpse-men”.

Why do you leave the Trilateralists and Bilderbergers out of this? After all, they control the Illuminati and Freemasons . . .

He was interviewed last night on Meghan Kelly and said “no doubt” Patton was murdered. So now this draft-dodging blowhard, who never served a day in uniform, is an authority on the death of Patton and all things military and comes to this conclusion, which has been shot down by all reputable scholars on the life of Patton. Geneal O’Reilly also wants to send a force of “mercenaries” to take care of the ISIS problem. So he’s also been watching too many Stallone movies. Hey, Billy, it’s make-believe.

But who controls THEM?

You’re even better than you thought. Patton actually died because he threw a blood clot that came from his being bed-ridden for so long. So you arranged not only the accident, but a delayed thrombosis. THAT’S talent!

Target Patton is an interesting book.

Actually, Patton’s car hit the truck in the rear. And Patton was riding in the front seat at the time. He suffered a slight cut on his head, but no other visible injury.

He was warning about the Communists and wanting to take preemptive action. He needed to die.

We could use a few Pattons and a few MacArthurs today.

Why is O'Reilly dealing with Patton when he hasn't finished his Presidential series?

I'm still waiting for Killing Garfield, Killing McKinley, and Killing Harding.

I posted this above. Looks like it’s where General O’Reilly got most of his material. Wonder if he’s ever heard of plagerism?
