I don’t think any of us would have thought that under Reagan, Bush or even Clinton, but under this group I share your concerns.
It is sad and stunning how fast thing degenerated to this level.
They need God’s protection. We all do.
It did restore a little of my faith in the military. They say there are no athiests in foxholes which greatly offends the left but it’s because they’ve never been in one that they don’t have the capacity to understand why.

US Marines, Not Army Soldiers.
I am sad to say that I doubt you would see/hear that from any Army post....I hope I am wrong though.
They are so young it just makes me feel like crying. Beautiful American boys.
I thought I read in the comments section under the video that it was at Camp Pendleton. So wonderful to see the faith of these soldiers. God bless and protect our precious men and women who are serving. They serve in particularly dangerous and troubled times.

Even after Elijah’s victory over the prophets of Baal, where the Lord showed His power, the enormity of the task and the obstacles were overwhelming. Once the adrenaline was gone, Elijah again felt alone and hopeless. God didn’t leave him at the point of hopelessness though. He reminded him that He had preserved a remnant.
Yes, these are the days of Elijah. So much that is Biblical is everyday reality to be seen by all with eyes to see. It’s good to be reminded that these challenges have faced God’s people all through time, and just like the Biblical days, God is here with us and will see us through.
On the radio today I heard Steven Curtis Chapman singing a song I’d never heard before, saying that even though it feels like the end, our story is still at the beginning, and we need to watch the great unraveling of the story that God is going to do, and be amazed.
The great stories in the Bible almost all came in times of great darkness. It means it shines all the brighter when God intervenes.
I was asking myself how a person could write a song that would convey the darkness of these times and still have the hope of the Lord in the middle of it.
I had never heard “Days of Elijah”. I want to look more closely at the lyrics; seems like they draw hope for the future from the remembrance of the past, which is what I keep going back to in my own mind and heart.

Proud of them. Sad and embarrassed I don’t worship that way all the time... just sometimes.
My Community Bible Study group sings this sometimes in opening worship. The lyrics are wonderful - love all the OT references - but we never sang it with the “HOO-RAH!” after “Lift your voice” but I think we need to add it, it goes great. Perfect tribute to one of our group’s founding members, a Marine who “graduated” a month or so ago. Best funeral ever...opened with When the Saints Go Marching In & closed with the Marine Hymn.
Had to watch again! There were 3,000 something then and now over 7,000.
