Oh dear, two typos in one post ("lovely young lday" and "an coarse approximation").
Time to close down the 'puter and hit the sack. Cheers!

Tattoos are primitive tribal behavior.
You got a tattoo, you ain’t from my “tribe,” and I ain’t hiring you, and I’m not going to think much of you. You want approval and understanding, get it from other members of your own tribe, not me. It’s real cut and dry with me.

(You can get an coarse approximation by hitting Google Image Search with the string "tattoo lucky you" and "Safe Search" turned off, but I don't recommend you do that unless you're really sure you want to, since most of those photos aren't nearly as pretty as the one this young lady had. Your imagination probably should suffice.) These days, you'll get better results if you add the word 'porn' to the query. Google likes hints. Leaves less to the imagination.

...you'll get better results if you add the word 'porn' to the query... I'm not sure the word "better" describes porn properly... and anyway, my porn-surfing days were brief and long, long ago. But thanks for the advice. :)

BTW, are you the author of the Greasemonkey script that does the wonderful forms on FR posts? (I'm using it right now.)
If so, I owe you a huge debt of gratitude for your work. That script is marvelously useful, and has never given me a lick of trouble (Firefox 31.0 on MacOSX 10.9.4)!

At 62 we can pretty much do what we want. You are certainly excused. I was talking about the youngins. Now, I’m off to have a smoke.

My son has a 2cm tattoo of a Jerusalem cross on the medial aspect of his arm. He claims it was a crusader gesture to indicate a Christian worthy of Christian burial. I could not object.

Freedom of association is a God-given right. If you don’t want to be judged for your body art, keep it completely hidden.

Yes, I saw a woman in her 60’s with tats. It was at a farmer’s market, hot and she was wearing a tank top. I can’t tell you what the tats were in the rolls of sagging flesh.
My daughter who was with me and who has always wanted a tattoo, got to see what she would’ve looked like in 30 years.
It was a great lesson.

Freedom is a two-way street.So is consistency.

Im for an employers rights to hire whom they deem appropriate for their business. Im not wholly unsympathetic to people with tattoos, but I dont think it should be made a right. But employer's DON'T the right to hire or not hire whom they deem appropriate right not, so why not add tattooed people to the list? Consistency.
To: gunsequalfreedom
Do you have any notion what that tattoo is going to look like when you get olderNot everyone becomes fat and out of shape. Just sayin'
To: southern rock
That’s true. I was looking at a job application at the local Kohl’s store a few weeks back, and the list of what they couldn’t discriminate against was very lengthy. I think you could basically be in a coma and they would have to give you equal consideration. I don’t know, I just don’t want to see one more thing added on to the list, but it’s probably coming.
