ATLANTA — (TG) In the wake of comedic-actor-turned-suicide-victim Robin Williams’ death yesterday, millions of his fans are in self-professed shock, agonizing over how a career funnyman could do the unthinkable.

“He was always smiling, he was crazy funny,” gushed Brittney Bouncer, a 19-year-old who has been a fan of Williams “my entire life.”

“What was wrong with him?” read one of the 20-something’s Twitter posts, uncharacteristically subdued and nestled between hookup arrangements, analyses of diet energy drinks, and stream-of-consciousness observations about last night’s “The Daily Show.”

“No question he had a lot of personalities,” allowed Bruce Devine, a theater manager in Brookhaven, Georgia. “Yeah, he had a few hiccups, like when he killed those people in Alaska and when he worked at that photo lab. Hell, he was even gay for a spell. But to kill himself? How could this happen? He was almost always so happy, so funny!”

Well, that's ok. Judging from King Obama’s prepared statement upon Williams’ death, it sounded like the One didn't know who Williams was at all. The usual tripe and no semblance of sincerity.

From the article:
“At the end of the day, many of these morons honestly think they know these celebrities, which explains the shock being expressed that a comedian could have anything other than jovial emotions.” Perhaps Giunipper Mccauley, 22, said it best. “It sucks right now, but I can’t wait to see the happy ending that’ll be in the sequel.”

The moron writer doesn't get the reference to heaven and the eternal life suggested by the 22-year-old. Then again, the writer might be 15.

Here’s the truth, he pretended to be a despicable lefty in Hollywood but he really was a conservative. Thats why he entertained the troops. He couldn’t stand what this Marxist piece of crud is doing to the country so he killed himself.

That’s what I have been telling the stupid young libs.

I seriously can’t wait until everyone is done trying to be part of this story.

Everyone wants to pretend like they were this guy’s super fan, yet they haven’t been going to his films recently nor have they bothered to watch his recent TV show that bombed.

...and stream-of-consciousness observations about last night’s “The Daily Show.”

Bingo! Got to play on someone's mind that his latest movies were bombs and his TV show was canceled.

Cue the voices that say, "Maybe I've lost it."

To someone, such as an actor or an athlete or anyone who has a lot of downtime to fill, those voices are quite destructive.

And they NEVER shut up.

That said, my wife and I were fans of his but found his TV show unwatchable. And we were very much looking forward to it last Fall. Recorded several episodes and wound up deleting them after suffering through the first two or three episodes.

Last Robin Williams comedic showing we enjoyed was when he was a guest on "Whose Line Is It Anyway?"
