Less than three percent of the population identifies as gay, lesbian or bisexual (GLB), a new federal health report shows.
According to the survey responses, 96.6 percent of adults ages 18 years and older identify as straight, 1.6 percent identified as gay or lesbian, and 0.7 percent identified as bisexual. These numbers are significantly lower than most American’s estimate. A 2012 Gallup Survey shows that U.S. adults, on average, approximate a quarter of the population to be gay or lesbian.

Also, the article says the report shows that there is no difference in the health of homosexual vs straight people, but then it goes on providing statistics, which shows the opposite -- they smoke more, binge drink more, have more "psychological distress" and so on...

What is this “Healthy People 2020 goals” — it sounds like something from Obamacare — the government is going to make us healthy, if it kills us...

One of the big questions is how can such a really tiny minority blackmail the large majority to give them all kinds of extra considerations? What is the matter with the “normal” 97%?
That's because the number of avowed homo characters or 'personalities' on the TeeVee is more like one in four, giving the impression that such behaviour is much more common (and much more acceptable) than it actually is.
But why are our TV shows made for homos instead of the general population?
Same things that leads them to slit their own throats voting for liberals in both parties.
1: A refusal to offend their online/real life friends
2: A willingness to bury their heads in the sand to avoid confrontation in any form.
3: Both of which directly relate to situational ethics.
Social engineering. Most of those shows tank and they just make more at a financial loss. Agenda/social engineering is the reason.
Liberals openly believe in creating reality. Remember when as Rush said Bush was president, they made a TV president and the media wrote articles about how that ‘president’ would handle whatever current event occurred.
With enough repetition fantasy becomes reality as Pavlov showed definitively. People are being trained to believe the lie.

Historically, the first step in any successful propaganda campaign is to break down the concept of absolutes. To end binary choices. Because when you do that, ANYTHING becomes plausable.
The idea that gays make up 5% then 10 then 120 then a full 1/4 of the population leads to one conclusion. That Homosexuality is common and increasing as people get used to the idea. No one wants to be the odd man out refuting what all can OBVIOUSLY see is an upward trend.
Except the original 5% was a lie to begin with and all the following increases made people question the ‘absolute’ that endured for thousands of years. That being that homos were VERY rare and at the fringes of society.
Once that absolute bit of long held knowledge was BS’d out of existence and people opened to the new ‘truth’, it became easy to pit people against each other and shove the agenda forward! while all the debate rages.

The media and Hollywood liberals have been deliberately inflating the numbers (or at least Americans’ impressions of the numbers) by over-representation.
You see way too many TV shows now with homosexuals as main characters, I can think of about a dozen myself. Education campaigns in the schools, misreporting in magazines and newspapers and by politicians.
2% isn’t a ‘representative’ group; it is an outlier.

Because many powerhungry, controlfreak homos know that propaganda and peer pressure works on the vast majority of people, so they’ve seized the media chokeholds in ho-wood and advertising.
As others on this thread have pointed out, the over representation of gays/lesbians in the media and the rest of the entertainment industry has allowed a tiny fraction of the population to ride herd over the majority, keeping what should be a non-issue at the forefront of discussion, distracting us from unemployment, wars and other, more consequential issues. Any conservative politician who get trapped into discussing gay marriage is a fool. It's a chance to get run out of town over nothing.
Due laregly to Liberal idiocy, their influence far exceeds their number.
The one percenters are big into homosexuality so they push that agenda.
The public may estimate a quarter of the population to be queer because that many or more are presented to be in the entertainment media. And homosexual representatioin in the entertainment field is pretty lopsided anyway. Not only is entertainment heavy with them but many straight actors claim to be homosexuals for publicity and career advancement in a homosexual and pedophilic entertainment culture.
There are several reasons, including propaganda for the purpose of social engineering, but the big one may be selection bias. Some gays feel that they cannot "express themselves" in their ordinary lives, so they go into acting as a way of hiding who they are - and many actually are talented actors. The Hollywood community is full of gays, pedophiles, and others who are sexually abnormal, so from their perspective TV and movies are becoming more like what they see in their bizarre lives.
It’s the same with the global warming crap...media, Hollywood and government conspire to put out a constant stream of stories and productions to condition you to believe it is the norm.
