He’s not quite honey badger bright.
He can only use his neck as a crescent wrench, thankfully.

With Boas, climbing branches are a good source of entertainment as they are semi-arboreal and excellent climbers.

Ball pythons are primarily terrestrial and although they *can* climb, they do not climb very well and tend to fall off a lot.

Falling too far is dangerous for them.

So, he has a split-level home with a nice upper deck upon which he lounges and plots his future escapes.

*Most* Ball Pythons are content to lie quietly in their houses, concealed in hides.

He’s a bit of an odd...ball.
