For those who don't remember the heyday of Beatlemania:

Ringo for President!

Ringo is the one with the drum
The others all play with him
It shows you what a boy can become
Without a sense of rhythm

I like his post-Beatles solo work the most of any of the Beatles, easily. Photograph, You’re 16, and The No-No Song come to mind immediately.

Some of his early solo work was written or cowritten with George Harrison. He was also smart to get very good musicians and producers. I don't care for the Beattles that much, but I do like Ringo and have his songs on my playlist.

I think I know “Hello Muddah Hello Faddah” by heart. That was back in the day when I spent my dollar allowance on a 45 and played it all week.

I’d say this: Paul McCartney was and is a legitimate musical genius.

He has his off days.

LOL!!! Paulie is, to be sure, more than capable of treacle.

I've always liked Ringo. He and George seemed the most grounded.

I did hear that later in life John Lennon was becoming more conservative. Apparently from sources I read he felt that Carter was a phony and had made the remark that if he could have voted in November of 1980 he would have voted for Reagan. Unfortunately his time was short.
