The answer is a passport and language skills. If you have kids, you need to get them out. America is gone. Has been for a generation.

I take it you're not going to stand and fight for freedom like our forefathers did throughout American history?

Where would you move to anyway that supports freedom? Antarctica?

I'll stay. I don't expect a fight though. I except it to keep on going downward as it has been.

1. Uruguay

2. Chile

3. Singapore

Lots of Asia and emerging Africa. And, parts of the Middle East!

Czech Republic ... Sweden ...

Dang, when the Castros die, I'd love to take a chance with the baseball, old cars, and women in Cuba!

You're one of my favorite FReepers, EEE. The mistake a lot of us make is thinking that the Constitution still matters. It doesn't. We can argue about who killed it, but that's irrelevant.

There's a lot of socialist countries (some dictatorships) that we SHOULD hate. But, in practice, their governments have no power. It's all a kleptocracy. Pay cash to avoid taxes. Pay a bribe here and there... nobody bothers you. Even in communist China, there are wide swaths where there is effectively ZERO government presence.

In the USSA, the gov is ubiquituous.
